Considering rolling this weekend but need a few opinions....

So a little history - rolled many times in the past (around 20-25 times), last time around 1 year ago, never had any problems at all, no major come downs. Was also smoking weed daily for about 2 years.
Took 2CB and smoked quite of a bit of weed around 1 year ago which triggered paranoia and a pretty major panic attack (became very difficult to breath, thought was going to die).
After this point stopped taking anything for a good few months.

Around 6 months ago started smoking a bit again which one day triggered delusions, anxiety and caused a few days of panic attacks (similar sensation of thinking was going to die, but instead that the world would end, some paranoia that people were watching me etc). Saw a DR at this point for a check up as had a brain zap and fainted during the series of panic attacks. Dr didn't diagnose any mental condition but advised I was over thinking/analyzing which was causing an increase in anxiety, and suggested some CBT. Went for around 10 sessions of CBT to 'straighten up' my thinking which worked. From then onwards again didn't take anything, have been completely fine. Smoked a small amount of weed for a few days around 1 month ago with no problems at all other than no longer enjoying it. No further anxiety or delusions since.

I would like to roll this weekend but wouldn't want to resurface any of the above. Do you think it could be resurfaced even though MDMA has never caused me any problems in the past?

I don't think it would tbh. It sounds like your problems stem more from weed abuse than MDMA.

Then again, we can't advise you to take it. That is entirely your decision to make.

This is what I thought, that it's more of an anxiety related problem due to abusing weed. From my past experience MDMA hasn't caused any anxiety, in fact the complete opposite, far more social confidence, lowered inhibitions etc.

Anybody else got an opinion? Anybody with a history of anxiety related issues that still rolls?

Super sometimes MDMA does cause anxiety during come ups but usually dissapearsonce you start your roll, then again I believe it is just based on the persons body

I believe psychedelics and weed are your two main issues here. Since you've experienced panic attacks and paranoia (this is related to being psychotic) I recommend you never take another psychedelic....ever. There very well known for causing psychosis and this could be a very real issue for you in the future if you continue psychedelic use. I also recommend you stay away from weed. Marijuana is very well known for destabilizing mood, causing anxiety, and exacerbating psychotic symptoms. Marijuana can greatly increase your risk of psychosis as well.

MDMA....I'm not sure to be honest. It's not advisable, however, MDMA isn't a psychedelic (like some people believe). It's actually an Amphetamine and is very similar to speed in nature. It's effects are different, and it does have serotonergic effects, however, I've only ever noticed Amphetamines exacerbating anxiety and psychotic-ness when taken in large doses.

If you're worried about it, it's probably best to just stay away from all drugs to be honest. However, I know I'd probably ignore this advise as well. If that's the case with you, I recommend you only take 2/3rd's your normal dose of MDMA. It may provide less effects, but it will ultimately benefit you in the long run.

Remember, there's nothing recreational about anxiety and psychosis. Be safe, be smart.....your future depends on it.

Thanks all for your opinions. If I decide to then it will be 100mg at most.
Am I right in thinking that a small portion of MDMA is converted to MDA and that MDA is more psychedelic than MDMA? If this is correct then a small dose shouldn't create much MDA, thus shouldn't create any hallucination, psychosis etc?

Can anybody help with this one -

Unless you're taking monsterous doses of MDMA (500mg+) then the MDA conversion is not worth worrying about. The conversion is something like 7% so 100mg would = 7mg which isn't going be psychoactive.
