this my first post idk how this all works so forgive me if i got this wrong or posted it in the wrong place or whatever.
i was taking mdma pretty regularly late last year, usually around 100-150mg and was having a lot of fun. i got to a point where i was taking it weekly for about a month and a half and then on new years eve i dropped and felt terrible. i felt week, i felt nauseous and just felt pretty anxious. i thought this could have been due to the amount i was taking with fairly small breaks in between so i waited about a month and a half before dropping again and felt even worse this time, to the pint where i felt super dizzy and weak i couldn't even hold my head up. could anyone give any reason as to why i could have felt this way? a few of my friends took the same caps and felt great.

First, you need to reagent test your drugs. The fact that your friends felt great doesn't mean what you took was MDMA.

Second, take a longer break. Often, six weeks isn't long enough to fully recover from the kind of use you described.

would that be a normal reaction from prolonged use of mdma? the batch i had the first bad roll from we tested and was definitely mdma, we didn't test the second batch but was from the same vendor.

Could be tolerance. But like proposed a bad batch of drugs could also be the cause. Whether it is or not, it's always a good idea to get a testkit so as to be somewhat sure of this in the future. I do know that you build up tolerance but you don't increase your dose, you could end up underdosing and this makes you stuck in that anxious comeup phase for a few hours. Kind of an uneasy, jittery, vague and sometimes angry state. Take a good long break of a few months, test that same batch of drugs before you take any more and when it tests ok take your normal dose after a few months. You haven't gone on any prescription medication recently have you?

It could be:

  • excessive use
  • underlying anxiety
  • MDMA induced anxiety
  • Dosing too low
  • Dosing too high
  • Not MDMA

Either way, I'd suggest taking a longer break. Most people find that eventually they get to a point whereby MDMA doesn't sit well with them, which is why I've always taken extended breaks and can still take it now. Take a longer break. My more extended breaks from MDMA i.e when I felt I actually required one, have always been 6 months to a year+. It's better than losing the experience. Listen to your body/mind. :)

Edit: There are numerous drug/ecstasy testing services available now which can tell you exactly what constitutes your MDMA/pills. I reccomend using them to know for sure. :)
