MDMA + Ritalin/Adderal

Hi guys,

Was wondering if anyone has any personal experience mixing the two? Please don't post the science behind it as i have researched this thoroughly before.
SWIM is in hold of some MDMA (crystals) and believes a roll on pure Molly to be rather lazy, not much dancing but still very fun and euphoric.
SWIM is curious as to whether mixing the amphetamines ritalin or adderal with MDMA prior or during the trip would affect the overall experience?
The main idea is to keep feelings of empathy and euphoria to a max with a surge of energy. Any other suggestive combinations with MDMA are welcome.

Just mix the crystals in some tin foil with some methamphetamine and smoke it, MDMA works great that way.
 
Ritalin and adderall are two different drugs, although they are used to treat similar conditions. Ritalin is also not an amphetamine.
Ritalin is methylphenidate, and adderall is a mix of amphetamine salts.

Of course it will, you're mixing 2 psychoactive substances 8) Besides, stimulants and amphetamines are some of the most common adulterants for ecstacy, both pressed pills and "molly", so it's likely if you took your "molly" you'd already be taking at least some amphetamines or stimulants.
Also please dont use "SWIM" :)
 
it's almost impossible to find meth in the UK so that idea would be out. I'm curious as to why theres no meth in britain. anyone know?
I have a friend who mixes coke and md powder and snorts the mixture, has anyone else tried this? I would think it cancels much of the effects of e but i havent tried.

It does.
MDMA causes reverse transport of serotonin through the serotonin transporter (SERT), whereas cocaine simply blocks the transporter with a similar or higher affinity than MDMA. If cocaine is sitting in the SERT, MDMA can't get in there and do it's thing, so the release of serotonin is stopped in its tracks.
 
amphetamine and mdma is not a good comination ime. for me they cancel each other out and i feel quite sober, maybe a bit like on a small dose of mdma or on a small dose of amp, depending on how much of each i have taken.

i dont find pure mdma lazy. just because you can choose between dancing and sitting doesn't mean that you can't go dancing. i have never tried pills with meth in them, but as you're from the uk it's unlikely that you have either. so probably you will not notice a difference between molly and good pills.
 
i've found pure pills (AKA blue buddhas in the SW U.S.) to be more...

"oh man i need to sit down and chill. wheew."

it goes back in forth between that and:

"oh man i need to walk around all ADHD and dance!"

pills cut with meth are: "WOW LETS DANCE THE WHOLE TIME SON!" (and stronger flashes of euphoria generally.)

but then again...MDA DOES IT BEST. Wow. If any ppl haven't gotten MDA yet...you've got to try it. It's like DANCE ALL NIGHT THEN VISUAL DISTORTIONS/COLORS APPEAR.

any form of amphetamine such as ritalin, adderall and methylphenidate should never be taken during ecstasy use. the amphetamine can cause a rapid onset of high blood pressure and a racing heart along with the use of x, which also causes elevated heart rate and high blood pressure. the use of both could be fatal. ive even used ritalin once, 40 mg, almost 2 weeks after taking a few pills of e, and i ended up in the hospital with attackacardia. its seriously really dangerous to mix the two, and even worse to mix them at the same time. since both are psychoactive stimulants, just taking one drug weeks after taking another could cause flashbacks, paranoia, anxiety attacks, heart problems, etc. trust me, its dangerous. my friend had a seizure at a party once not even an hour after taking 45 mg of adderall and one pill of x. and on top of that, hes a prescribed user. people not prescribed the drug are more susceptible to problems during use since a tolerance has not been built up.

BE CAREFUL. AND BE SMART.
 
For me adderall always seemed to lessen other highs, specifically pot, so I would probably stay away from mixing it with anything else. Additionally there's the whole heart thing blackmoth posted about to consider.

Although this question makes me wonder why people would even put amphetamine cuts in rolls because you would think they would just dull the MDMA part of the experience...

Once again, ritalin is the brand name for methylphenidate and is NOT an amphetamine.

Can you provide a source for this statement?

I dont understand how this could happen when the mdma would be completely out of your system within 3-4 days.
 
okay...so does methylphenidate diminish MDMA's effects a la cocaine, or does it not matter, as ritalin doesn't block reuptake at the SERT?

Adderall should be okay in terms of effects, as long as you don't tweak out to the point of the roll being obscured. It will also increase neurotoxicity, dehydration, hyperthermia, and exacerbate your come-down.

Speak for yourself.

I for one often use MDMA to calm down my heart and relax the body after a longer speed binge.. Sometimes I'm having a lot of chest pain and heavy palpitations and surprisingly MDMA just takes it away. And no, they don't cancel each other for me.

However normally I avoid mixing drugs because I like the "clean" effect ;)

You do realise that MDMA elavates heart rate? No ifs or buts, it's just part of what the drug does, there's no possible way it's calming and relaxing your body.

There's two possibilities here, either the chest pain is caused by anxiety, which is temporarily covered up by the MDMA high, or it's physical, but you likewise don't realise it because you're so munted on MDMA and can't feel pain. Neither is healthy for you, and in both cases using MDMA will only exacerbate the issue in the long term.

As someone who used to combine speed and MDMA fairly regularly, I'd say the combination should be avoided. It compounds the negative side effects of both drugs many times over, the comedown will feel like hell and the long term side effects will become much more noticeable. It feels good, but it's in no way worth it, just stick with as close to pure MDMA as you can get.
 
i have mixed adderal and ecstasy if feels nice but it EXTREMELY bad on your heart and would not recommend it to anyone cuz the next week or so my heart ached like a bitch
 
I feel like I have to have some sort of speed with my pills if I'm at a rave... I'll take one speed bomb and two good pills and be perfect all night.
It's not good for you, but if you've taken an e pill before chances are there was an amphetamine in it. It's not as bad as you guys are making it sound, round here pills are cut with meth and people arent dropping dead and seizing up (unless they're stupid and drink alcohol or dont drink water)

Just because people aren't dying on the dancefloor doesn't mean it isn't have serious implications on their long term health.
 
This is common sense, guys, come on. Mixing Adderall and MDMA, both of which, are hard on the heart, is a terrible mix for your body. Just because people don't see any short-term, harmful effects, from the drug, doesn't mean there aren't long-term consequences.

People are living in the moment, too much. We aren't young forever, and yes, we do get old. You don't want to be a cripple when you're 60. Think.
