MDMA - Post Comedown "I slipped"

^^ Sounds like your ex has the psychological problem.

Finished, I see your point and I agree that a lot of people must just be ignoring the damage/attributing it to other causes/failing to detect the changes. I know a guy who's memory is shot; but that's the thing about memory you don't notice when yours is shit.

Still the extent of damage/severity of symptoms must ultimately comedown to differences between brains/bodies. I know in my case the symptoms were un-ignorable, regardless of personality type. And while the subjective experience of drugs may be quite similar this does not mean all brains are created equal.

Everyone has two legs but not everyone is the same height. The subjective experience of climbing a mountain may be the same for most people, yet the physical toll on ones body will differ according to body size/endurance. This is the only way I see to explain why somebody gets totally fucked from mdxx and the other dude feels down for a day and is rolling the next weekend.

Some people like jannovi's ex will look at this as a weakness in a person, however, I see it as an important lesson to listen to your body when it's telling you something isn't for you.

I do believe at some point this shit will catch up with everybody in some way. Whether they notice is another story.

^^ Oh he does have a problem.. He is a "PSYCHO" hence I dumped him lolls.

I think I see this now as some sorta blessing that this has happened to me... If this didn't happen I would've ingested more untested pills and would've ended up in a coma or died (knock on the wood) I shuda sticked to alcohol god damn it! lolls

MDMA (assuming it was reagent tested and is legit) is safer than alcohol... you won't just randomly die from it, unless you have legit heart problems or other health issues. The real danger is in those bunk rolls from the streets that have everything in the book except MDMA.

As for the nasty comedown... I used to get nasty comedowns last year, now I get those "zero comedowns" or 1-2 day comedowns, and feel normal again after and ready to roll again in 2-3weeks.

My theory is the more often you roll, the more you brain needs to rewire their receptors/axons, and overtime, they grow stronger and stronger but there's less of them. So in this theory, you would feel "normal" but in reality, you would still have less serotonin/5HT whatever in your brain then someone taking 1-3months breaks between rolls, but you will be able to roll often because those neuron axons grew very strong from being stimulated that much from MDMA.

Well i would have at least a month in between rolls, usually 2 and i still suffered long term effects.
As far as the alcohol thing, you cannot compare them. It is very typical of E users to compare them but it is totally wrong. Alcohol is legal, meaning there are SOoooo many more drinkers than there are rollers. Which obviously means more chances of bad things happening with alcohol. MDMA is relatively safe but there are people who die from pure mdma. They may have an underlying heart problem , or blood pressure problems. That combined with MDMA = cardiac arrest. Have you ever felt your heart rate while you are rolling, yea it is beating extremely fast. People don't die often from alcohol alone, they usually combine it with another downer. Or they drink so fucking much that they are almost wanting to die.

Now the 2nd part is even if people want to falsely say MDMA is safer than alcohol, you have to look at the brain aspect as well. MDMA does more damage to your brain than alcohol, dose per dose. Have you ever had a bad hang over? I have, and it recovers pretty damn fast. When i have a bad ecstasy hang over, it takes at least a week to fully get adjusted and that is the minimum amount of time.

^^ Totally agree. Comparing mdma and alcohol is dangerous IMO. In terms of how a set amount will negatively affect a user upon ingestion mdma is clearly the worser of the two. And this is what potential users really want to know: how will said substance affect me when consumed. Using number of substance-related deaths as evidence of safety is misleading because it doesn't take into account scale of use as finished noted.
Alcohol causes more deaths a year than gasoline. Does that mean I'm gonna pour myself a pint of unleaded? No.

Your long term suffering is irrelevant, I've been abusing each 2-3 weeks since the start of february 2013 (I've also done this, this fall, but it ended up with a month long comedown), and I'm still going strong with almost no comedowns, I just tweaked my lifestyle mostly based on Bluelight informative threads/archives, and have a more positive mindset eat healthier, takes a day or two and I'm back to normal.

For the alcohol part, your answer is basically what I said in the 2nd part of my first sentence. Of course an alcohol abuser will get away with it easier than a MDMA abuser, no wonder. But what you forgot to consider is the RATIO of abusers. I personally believe there's MUCH more people abusing MDMA then Alcohol if you do a RATIO comparison. Yet, even then, most MDMA abusers never die because well, you just need to have a normal heart and a few water bottles and you'll survive a roll, not to say it's usually used at parties and closed environments. Alcohol on the other hand, is wildly used and often abused... I've known countless people that need to drink each day to get through their day. Nowadays alcohol is like the baby's milk for grown man, it's going down like it's nothing, reckless use and abuse, over and over. Try to be reckless with MDMA and it will fuck you up harder then you thought possible. Yes people abuse MDMA, but only very few are reckless popping 10 strong rolls in a night spam, most people know their limits with MDMA, with alcohol it's basically go wild and drink till you pass out...

I don't want to start a debate here, cause it's pointless, everyone has their own point of view on things in life and I respect that. This is just what I think and felt like sharing.

Hey - yes the drug days are over. Time to be high on life and the occasional drink or two. Glad you are feeling better.

Yea i feel you on the drinkers part, there are definitely many alcoholics who need their liquor to feel normal. Slowly by slowly killing them self with out noticing.

One thing though I have seen hundreds of threads where people didn't really abuse MDMA, they used pretty moderately but still reported being fried for months.
With alcohol, i never see someone say they feel fried from using alcohol moderately. You go through your shitty hang over which lasts a day or 2, and you are back to feeling normal.
The people who report alcohol brain damage , are LONG term heavy users. I mean heavy heavy drinkers, thus in conclusion MDMA is a lot worse for your brain. You may have got lucky and not felt any ill effects but for the general population MDMA fries your brain at a much faster rate than alcohol ever could.

I definitely agree with you.. I did take a lot on my last time but there are people who have taken more than me and they did it every weekend.. I spaced mine out for at least a month but I guess the last time I did it my serotonin was already too low hence the comedown.. I was saying alcohol was better because you are right.. It never gave me any bad hangovers that lasted for a long time like mdma did.
