Ive done pills many times (Mdma) , never getting to more than 4 or 5 in a night (im a petite female) however on a particular night i ended up consuming 10 and had a seizure which went for over 5 minutes. All doctors tests are back and theres no medocal reason showing why i would have the seizure so it was obviously the drugs. Wanted to know how much of a good idea it would be to take pills again, if i take only 1 maybe for a whole night! Am i more likely to have another seizure now that ive had the first? Im going to be a lot more careful from now on obviously just looking for some any advice that can be given

Do the doctors know you took MDMA? Did you test your pills or the drugs you took? Were they all MDMA/MDA?

Personally, I would avoid taking MDMA/MDA or anything else that's now sold as MDMA/MDA/Ecstasy. Stay safe.

How much MDMA is in these pills? Because even at only 100mg, and most contain 200-250, those are some absurdly dangerous and irresponsible doses

This is very important, because it's important to determine that you did in fact have a seizure. I've noticed people on here referring to what sound like pretty typical MDMA effects as seizures; I'm talking about effects such as eye wiggles/eyes rolling into the back of the head/intense bruxism/uncontrollable body movements/confusion/loss of ordinary consciousness. Having experienced both, there is a vast difference, though they share similarities on paper.

Just to clarify, I'm not saying that you didn't have a seizure, it's impossible for me to know. But you do need to be open and honest with your doctor and seek to determine whether you did in fact experience a seizure, or simply the more intense side of the ecstasy experience. You don't want to be taking seizure medication indefinitely, if it isn't actually necessary, or wasting medical staff/your time with testing/consultancy/etc. :)

Again, I'm just throwing it out there; to an outside observer, MDMA, especially at high doses (i.e ten pills, which is a lot), can easily look to an outside observer like somebody is having a seizure.

If you did have a seizure, then I really wouldn't recommend taking MDMA again. Why expect better luck the next time?

Im not convinced these pills were just MDMA, they were very trippy so possibly MDA and a mixture of other things but the doctors didnt test any or offer to so i dont know for sure what it was, only that it was sold to me as MDMA. They were 200mg or thats what they were sold as. Pretty sure this was a genuine seizure, bit my lip incredibly hard, unconscious and convulsing for about 5 minutes or so and taken off in an ambulance- not the typical eye roll! I know its not wise for me to try again as its not wise to do any form of drug, but im trying to determine whether it was sheer dosage or just me having a bad reactiom to a certain ingredient.

Also, the doctors do know i was on drugs, have since then had an EEG, MRI CT and many other tests and nothing has shown up. Didnt get put on any seizure medication, just got a slap on tje wrist and told to not do drugs again

If that in fact was 200mg a pill you are extremely lucky you aren't dead. Two 200mg pills in a night is a lot, much less 5, much less 10

It's probably best to lay off the drugs in that case, seizures can be incredibly damaging/dangerous and are really best avoided. If you do continue to use drugs, then you need to adopt a far more responsible approach in order to try and mitigate the risk; but that is by no means going to ensure you avoid having another seizure.

For the record, 2000mg of MDMA is an absolute shitload of MDMA, and I would not expect anything less than for that amount to be incredibly trippy, not to mention for the risk of seizure to be significantly increased.

I didnt get the 200mg info from the dealer, so it honestly could have been any amount as hes not my friend but a mates. Its probably better if I avoid anything sold as mdma for a long time (which is my plan anyway) i just wanted advice from people who dont know me and will maybe help me as opposed to just telling me to quit drugs. I know im never gonna know whether something will cause a seizure or not but knowing what to avoid to minimise the liklehood. I know people may think im stupid for wanting to do it again, but most people who OD probably do the same drug again and im treating my seizure as a result of an overdose rather than me being particularly sensitive to a certain drug. Regardless i took far too much and if i had been in my right state of mind/ with different people that night things may be much different, but they arent, it wss self inflicted and i take full responsibility

^My advice wasn't intended as obtuse or condesending; the amount you took would be in its nature trippy and more prone to causing seizures; and if you're going to continue using drugs, which it seems you are, then the best approach would be more responsible use. This would include avoiding drugs widely known to cause seizures and to dose less etc. That's all just common sense though; nobodies going to give you the go ahead.

You may be having fun at parties ect but you may want to error on the side of caution & take the advice of your doctor. The brain is a sensitive organ. Not sure what country you are in but in the USA you lose your drivers license for up to 6 months until you can prove freedom from seizures. If you do live in the us & haven't lost your license count it as a blessing. Be safe.
