MDMA+LSD. Should I? Trip reports?

I know some people will say the MDMA will pull you out of it, but I will retain my role as negative nancy on this thread and say that, if you are having a bad time on one drug, throwing more drugs on top of it is probably not the best choice. That is what I chose to do, and it did not end well.

That said, if you're having a not-so-great time with the acid, and you are able to figure out what's bothering you about the situation and resolve that conflict in a positive manner, I'd imagine things would be ok. That tends to be hard to do in a very externally stimulating context like a rave though.

SET AND SETTING. Be aware of what's going on in your head going in. If you are in a bad place emotionally, might not be the best time to try something new. Know your surroundings, feel safe, feel comfortable with the people you're with. I know I'm being pretty cautious here, but I wouldn't wish my experience upon anyone.

If it were me, I would not do it for the first time at a rave.

I haven't read your report yet, but I'm thinking a rave would be the best place. Raves really open me up as a person and it's one of the few times I feel truly happy inside and able to talk to anyone about anything. Not so much in any other situation of my life. Just thinking all that happiness will help.

I've candy flipped once, and have a very bad experience, but it was due to the time and setting and my friend leaving me alone at a rave, def not a party drug and is very powerful. All I can say from my experience is you maybe should try it without mixing, and be with someone experienced. RAVE IS A BAD IDEA coming from my experience and many people have said so.

I've decided not to flip. It sounds like a wonderful combo but I realised I would be cramming in a trip or two just to see if I want to for NYE and that's slightly irresponsible. I think I would need to be more experienced with LSD before I brought it into my rave adventures. Not to mention that trip report where you thought you two were the only ones alive because of love... yeah, I have deep feelings for this girl, probably not the best idea to.

Thanks though! I'll try it in the future, but in the meantime, I'll stick with the drugs I'm comfortable with.

Edit: What I really wanted from the trip was awesome visuals without so much of the mindfuck aspect. I think what I really should try to get is 2C-B. But still, thanks for all the advice guys! Harm reduction ftw.

Honestly, I think you should candyflip. My first was the best day of my life to that point. I reckon if you c flip on new years (like I am doing) you'll have one of the best days of your life.

That's exactly what I wanted out of it...I think going in with that attitude sets you up for a bad time--there will sure as shit be a lot of mindfuck. I think you're making the right call.

Whenever I candyflip, I feel very clear-headed and very true. If candyflipping gives you a mindfuck you must not be very experienced with psychedelics. Compared to some stuff like DMT, candyflipping is as far from a mindfuck you can ever be. I'd done acid maybe four times prior to my first candyflip and I had what could probably be called a perfect experience with LSD and MDMA.

Disagree. The MDMA may make you feel clearheaded, but you are still tripping. Just because you are not aware that your perceptions are altered doesn't mean they aren't. This makes potential bug-outs significantly more frightening, because you're not necessarily aware of how altered you are if/when they happen.

Not trying to demean your experience, definitely not trying to say that candyflipping is a bad idea in general...I just want to inject a note of caution into the conversation, as things can and do go very wrong for some people.

I've never taken a psychedelic before. So yeah.

Too much MDMA doesn't make me feel clearheaded. It makes me too emotional and not logical enough.
