I hear a lot of things about 2 RC's specifically..

4-FA and 6-APB

4-FA, people claim clear headed like MD effects, not overwhelming...

6-APB, someone claimed it was like MDA, intense.. another claimed better than MD, also intense..

What's the real deal? Are theses substances BOMB when you live in a place like Canada or Michigan?!? 8(
Can anyone share any thoughts or experiences on these two substances or any other information on alleged (Good) MD alternative?

6-APB is an MDA analog. 4-FA is in theory highly neurotoxic.

6-APB is a good alternative, but expect next to none sleep and a rough hangover.

Why would 4-FA be neurotoxic? The fluorine substitution blocks its metabolism to a-methyldopamine which eliminates oxidative stress through this route.

There is even empirical evidence to back this up.

That D-F post has been picked apart in its own thread and here in ADD many times,

The only facts you state are that,

1. Cloroamphetamine and Flouroamphetamine are both halogenated amphetamines.

2. Cloroamphetamine is used to selectively kill off serotonin neurons in mice. Seem to recall reading that the other day, but don't have the paper handy.

3. Methamphetamine is neurotoxic, indeed in large quantities.

And like I said, we now have empirical evidence that 4-FA does not cause long term depletion.

I would advise strongly against going wild with it, but frankly that puts it into a safer category than MDMA.

^mdma is a "designer drug" and could of been considered a research chemical at one point, its mainstream no.
to my understanding its a design tweak on MDA with the extra methyl thing, and MDA is a 3,4MD tweak on Amphetamine.

This sounds about bang on. I think Shulgin started with MDA and from MDA made MDEA and MDMA.

The 3,4 corresponds to the 3rd and 4th position coming off the aromatic ring.

I might be wrong but I think what comes off 3 and 4 is called a dioxolane.

Shulgin refers to it as a methylenedioxy ring. With chemistry sometimes there are often many different meanings

I dont know for sure?

Both are correct, any chemist will know what you mean by both and any "internet drug user" will know what you mean by methylenedioxy ring
