Plenty of negativity & bad experiences flooding the forum currently, so I thought I'd add something positive.
MDMA is well-known for its therapeutic benefits with PTSD patients, but somewhere amongst my recent use of MDMA I've found the burdens of a decades-long poly-drug addiction eased.
Whether a result of subconcious paranoia about potential damage caused by overuse, or the fruit of introspective reflection on health that occured during the peak/afterglow, my compulsive use of alcohol & other drugs has been reduced.
The same daily stressors are there, but my deisre to inebriate seems to have vanished. I've been more clean & sober lately than in any time in recent memory.
My first use of MDMA 11 years ago realigned my perceptions about the Universe, so I guess I should not be surprised at its ability to affect my life currently. Still, the intangible benefits of recent use are doing what years of earnest motivation couldn't, reminding me of the power contained therein when respected.
Anyone else experienced positive life changes (substance-dependency related or otherwise) thanks to MDMA use?
Did it stick with you permanently, or fade with time?
