I remember reading an article or study or something that said after taking MDMA like a ONE 200MG DOSE OR LESS it takes 6 months for it was described as a tube that connects the seretonin flow in your brain and when you take MDMA for the FIRST TIME it breaks and all the seretonin FLOODS EVERYWHERE that is why everyone says the first time is best and can never ever be experienced again. What I was reading said it takes 6 months for that tube to reconnect and let you feel like it is your first time taking MDMA. Now my problem and question is that I can not find the article on google anywhere to much shit on MDMA and instead of pointless time wasting exhausting mind bugging basic research attempts I figured some intelligent person here on blue light can help give me a source or something similar to what I am looking for which WOULD BE A HUGE help for me.

In my opinion, the MDMA high is one of the few highs you can chase and actually catch. I've had many rolling experiences that were as good or even better than the first time. Now you can just up your dosage and get really messed up if that's your thing, but I wouldn't recommend that. That's the path I went down and it ends with you taking half grams or more at a time because a couple points "just doesn't do it anymore" and frequently taking it messes up your brain chemistry a bit (which is why you see a lot of people come here to ask if their head is ever going to feel like it used to and such).

It does take time to restore your serotonin functions to normal which is probably what that tube analogy and six month figure relates to. Just be careful when you're high, and in the days afterward stay hydrated, eat normal portions/meals and take a multivitamin and you'll feel back to normal in no time.

The tube was a basic simple non-scientific explanation description for dummies.

Well sounds like a pretty understandable amount of time to fully restore serotoinin function after a dose. But as others have said, the first time isn't always the best. I've had plenty of rolls that felt much better than the first time and this was on a monthly basis of rolling .But who's to say that those pills didn't have a higher / better synthesized mdma content. Also the event and who i went with would be big factors as well.

Agree that its a very highly subjective measurement on the full recovery time period. The way you enjoy the experience will heavily rely on the said factors and overall lifestyle in general. Personality type and general well being are major factors imo. If you could possibly find the article or study again I'd definitely be interested.

I honestly think it only takes a few days to a week to restore serotonin back to its original level.

That's just me at least. I swear, I only feel different the day after. After that, I feel as fine as I was before I rolled. I only take pure mdma still in crystal form, mind you.

It may be subtle for you, but i notice changes in mood for at least a week after rolling. Sometimes i get other effects as well, sometimes i don't. And at times i notice changes in my mood / feelings well over one week.

What is for sure whether you feel it or not, is that serotonin takes wayy longer than a few days to a week to restore back to its original state. There are a lot of other factors besides just getting the neurotransmitters, A LOT.

I read some study a little while back that said the damage caused by MDMA is healed fully after 20 years, and that heavy MDMA use was neurotoxic and would not fully heal ever again.

Do you have a link to this study?

And are you referring to the damage from one dose? This seems highly unlikely
