I'm curious if anyone has tried this.

I assume it would make it more neurotoxic, but would taking things that inhibit the pathways mdma is metabolized cyp2d6, and cypa34, being the main ways, make the mdma experience last longer?

As someone that experiences a rather short duration of most serotonergic drugs, I'm very curious about ways to make them last longer.

I do think with MDMA in particular safety might be a concern with anything that potentiates it or increases its duration.

I completely understand. Me too, I recognize this would likely increase neurotoxicity.

Funnily enough, there was a study that found sildenafil (viagra) helped prevent neurotoxicity in one manner, I forget how, as well as thc, that one being through better temperature regulation with thc.

Imo, antioxidants wise, I think glutathione is one of the strongest. So I've always speculated taking some NAC, along with something like acetyl glutathione, would be very helpful, and having some sort of vitamin C mix drink for flu being drank during the experience.

For enzyme inhibition, at least in the US, cbd is a strong cyp2d6 inhibitor, and I believe green tea extract is a strong cyp3a4 inhibitor, and one could eat a grapefruit or two (they are so good) to cover more bases.

I have not been able to confirm it, maybe there is not much to confirm before someone does more extensive research, but I have heard CBD inhibits particularly cyp3a4 which would decrease metabolization to MDA, probably decreasing neurotoxicity and increasing duration, but changing the high, or at least that was what this person stated in Reddit IDK.

I've often drunk a half litre of grapefruit juice before taking MDMA (I'm a 'fast metabolizer'), it does seem to help. But I also recommend stacking the supplements too to keep damage to a minimum.

MDA lasts significantly longer than MDMA.. by preventing metabolism to MDA, wouldn't it make the overall experience shorter?
