MDMA eliminates nerve pain

Just wanted to toss this out there in the case that some researcher finds this interesting. I've suffered from lower back nerve pain for over a decade. I've had two back surgeries to clear disk material from pushing on the nerves. So when I take pure MDMA (tested) 200 to 300 mg, I'm a large person, my nerve pain is completely gone. It's as if I'm instantly cured of the problem. This is very different than the results of prescribed drugs like Oxycontin. Oxy leaves me in a groggy, altered state and I feel hung over the following day. The MDMA is completely different obviously but the masking of the pain is 100% effective where the Oxy is about a 95% with that yucky mental state.

The last time I took MDMA (It's a once or twice a year event), I almost thought it cured me of my nerve pain it was so effective and transparent. The pain blocking lasted for two days after taking the MDMA. So those were pain free days after the 6 hours of bliss. Sadly, on day three the pain began to creep back in.

Maybe this is no surprise to a scientist but MDMA is a nice break from the pain and every chronic nerve pain suffer should get a little break from it once in a while. It would be incredible if science could identify the pain blocking component of MDMA and isolate it into a new drug that would mask pain 100% without any mental drag like opiates.

(PS. I also have Gout from time to time and found THD/CBD oil reduces the redness, heat and swelling in 30 minutes and lasts about a day or two.. which anyone with gout should know! That condition hurts so bad)

Very interesting

I have a yet undiagnosed illness in its early stages but it causes me random muscle, joint, bone discomfort. Hopefully this doesn't affect future goals but I have a nagging feeling it will...

Purchasing CBD oil is on my to-do list. I'll have to add the MDMA experiment as well.

Sorry to hear about your body, hope things go well for you in the future

I've heard psychedelics do this too, I've actually noticed my posture has improved significantly after tripping, and the back pain caused by this went away too.

Mdma does have some anaesthetic properties. Relaxation will also have helped. Now that you know this, you might find you benefit from taking CBD.

I also have nerve pain in my feet from being prescribed Benzos for 50+ years. I had almost the same experience with my first shot at MDMA. I tried every narcotic and AD's and nothing gives me relief except Cannabis. I'm still in Benzo wd having been off it only two weeks. Within 10 minutes of ingesting MDMA, the pain completely disappeared and stayed that way for 5 hours. After that some came back but it was controlled for another day and a 1/2. It was a terrible shock when it came back after 5 hours and I had to smoke a lot to come down to that pain. Of course, I now want to use it all the time, but I think the idea of sparing use just for a pain vacation is great.

Yes mdma eliminates physical pain completely. too bad it can't be used everyday like oxy. And once you take oxy everyday as a prescription there is really no high/groggy feeling associated with it and just the pain relief.

thats why opiates will always be king: effective pain relief, minimal intoxication, work everytime everyday

I have also heard anecdotal reports from nerve pain sufferers that amphetamines provide good temporary relief. Very interesting.
