MDMA/Dosing/Not enough "high"

Hello,
I'm 5'7, 150lbs, goes to the gym regularly and is an arguably healthy 29 year old. I've only started taking ecstacy CAPSULES this year and I've taken 7 capsules with 1-2 weeks spacing in between. I don't really measure how much I take but I usually split the capsule with my partner. We've taken fly high greens, black demon, and red. So far I've noticed that the effect has been getting less and less. The first 2 caps were the absolute best. Recently, the high doesn't seem to go that high anymore and lasts shorter. I usually feel the coming up and that's about it. Any idea as to why this is happening? is once a week too much?
 
Once a week is way too much. One month is the minimum, it takes around 3 weeks for you serotonin levels to reach a near normal level. Most people here believe that 1 to 3 months is the the golden spacing period. I personally try to keep it at around once every 2 months but some times a must see show comes to town and I break my own rules. Also capsules are a very vague term. Your standard MDMA dose should be around 100mg (per pill). If its really pure all you'll need is 100mg to 150mg (depending on tolerance). Don't take my word for look around at some other threads. Check out some of the "bad comedown" threads. Some people that abuse MDMA "loose the magic", basically don't enjoy the drug because of abuse. For other its more severe the fall into a depression that takes years to recover from. I would recommend that you take a nice long break and when you do decide to roll again have your drugs tested. dancesafe.org offers a testing kit, it basically helps you find out if your getting actual MDMA and it'll let you know if your drugs are cut. The answer to your problem is pretty simple. Once a week is way too much. I used to roll every other weekend and noticed that the high got weaker and weaker.

Once a month should be ok. Bigger breaks between your rolls will give you better highs.
 
Man... Once a month is really pushing it. One every three months is pushing it. Once every six months is a time frame I could agree with. Always dose low. Honestly I enjoy 80mg just as much as 110-120mg. Be healthy as well in all aspects of your life. I think having a positive attitude along with a hq product and a specific intent for using MDMA other than being 'off your tits' will help ensure the utmost of positive experiences. I value MDMA higher than gold. Literally. If you can adhere to a more positive lifestyle then 'off your tits' feeling will only be a side effect for the real magic that the MDMA is working.

I suggest a nice room, nice couch, some music of your taste, a bit of water, and a friend. Let yourself breathe mentally and open up, letting those beast of burden off your chest. Breathe in the air before the experiences ends and realize that not only have you had one of the most profound experiences of your life, but you have come to Better understand yourself and how you can continually better your life. MDMA will help you learn the real you, far more than any other psychoactive substance ever will.

Yeah I agree with everything you've said - especially about dosing low. I much prefer feeling less 'fucked' but it doesn't take away from the magical elements of love, empathy and happiness.

I should certainly try MDMA in a nice comfortable environment with a friend to chat about deep stuff and see if I can gain some enduring benefits from the experience. Just need to find a mate willing to try it!

Last week i tried a different capsule and the high was longer, better but the comedown was worse. I'ts been a week since that last roll and i'm still not feeling 100%. I find myself more irritable and more lethargic... it's like im not really depresed but im not "normal". I took 5htps after rolling and also nootropyl, vitamin c's and green tea... what else can i do? please help. thanks!

What you can do? Increase your moderation between rolls! It is well anecdotally documented that excessive consumption of MDMA (regarded as <once a month) reduces the high and worsens the comedown hence the stress on moderation. Don't roll twice in a few weeks and you should experience a better high and easier comedown while also minimizing any potential damage you cause. The best roll i've had was with a 3 month abstinence and healthy lifestyle - nothing can match the euphoria I felt that night.

Supplements aren't the answer - they're not magical products that will boost the high and diminish the comedown regardless of your use/abuse. While 5-HTP might help you during the comedown - it can't, and should not, replace time between rolls. Stick to at least once a month if you cannot wait longer and expect better highs, more bearable comedowns and less risk for longer adverse effects.
