MDMA degradation over time

A few months ago, my dealer randomly gave me a capsule of MDMA that he said was from the first batch of molly he ever bought, about six or seven years ago. It's a weird light gray color and doesn't look like any MDMA I've ever seen.

Considering I don't know how it was stored before I got it, what are the chances it has degraded to a significant degree? Could eating it be unsafe in any way? I could see hanging onto pills for a year or two even, but this is a really long time and I couldn't find anything searching the boards.

Thanks for your help

MDMA is very stable and if stored in a dry place will last for years without degrading - theres no problem with taking old pills/molly. (obviously after testing)

Even if the storage wasnt ideal then the MDMA will not have turned into something dangerous - basically if the gel caps are intact then you know they were kept dry and havent come into contact with anything.

I have kept pills for over 5years before and they were just as good as new when used.

Om Nom Nom :D

i have friends who froze a really good batch of pills to see them through the drought. reading this it seems like this might have been the stupidest thing they can do though, if allowing them to come into contact with water (ok, ice, but its a wet environment) is the main problem!

^Unless they're directly against the ice, there shouldn't be any problem. Even if they are, there still might not be any problem since ice is not water. If they're against the ice directly, remove them now.
