MDMA compared to Mephedrone

Just finishing off my first-ever gram of mephedrone and definitely see some mild similarities, such as:

Increased music appreciation
Stimulation
Euphoria
Increased talkativeness/openness

However, meph is much less potent in terms of the intensity of these effects than MDMA (at least in the low doses I've used). It is shorter acting and far more likely to induce re-dosing than MDMA. There is little to no next-day hangover with meph, which is not the case with E. It feels like it causes some serotonin effects but far less intense than MDMA. No harsh comeup, although the stomach upset/diarrhea is still there for me just like with E.

The best description I can think of for 4-mmc would be 'Ecstasy Lite, with a Twist of Coke'. lol
 
Delete this if it's against the rules, but if it's legal is it available for purchase online? It seems so many people use it here but I've never heard of it and wouldn't have the first clue on how to get it. I'm not asking how to get drugs, just if its more readily available due to its legality?
 
Mephedrone is too hard to make in regulated doses. It varies so much, that there's a significant chance of overdose without actually consuming as much as you think you are.

That alone makes me scared of it.

This is inaccurate. While purity does vary considerably, as long as you're getting mephedrone there is barely any chance to OD at all. Even if you go from 40% purity to 100% purity, you're unlikely to overdose at a dose of 300mg. Always start with low doses of any chemical and slowly raise your dose after waiting awhile. You are taking this risk with any powder -- mephedrone, methylone, or even Molly.
 
you're trying them the right way round i'd say- if you like mephedrone mdma will probably blow you away. mephedrone is a bit speedier, which is why people have been commenting that mdma is more relaxed.

i'd speculate that mephedrone is possibly more dangerous, because of the moreishness and the fact you can binge for much longer on it that you can on mdma. i've known people who pre-uk ban were basically addicted to mephedrone, took it all day from the second they got up. never known anyone do that with mdma and don't think its possible to get the desired effects if you use it like that.

you'll probably enjoy mdma more, and its probably better from a harm reduction perspective.

If this is true makes me very nervous about dipping my feet. I thought 100mg is 100mg. If its less pure than 100% lets say 90% I always thought that meant 90mg of chemical?

not one of us have ever gotten stages of depression.
the next morning we might feel somewhat of a hangover, but that always has gone 100% away after the next day.
It can be different for everyone, but depression comes more with abuse in my opinion.

My first "suicide tuesday" was my cue to cut back.... so i stopped for several months and moderated myself better. Great results.

And to the quoted person, it may have just not happened yet. Unless you space them out a lot, eventually this sort of thing will probably catch up on you.... It took me more than a year but it eventually happened.

Oh and Methylone in our current understanding of it, is less toxic than mephedrone and quite possibly MDMA. It does cause a dopamine release in the brain... its not a crazy amount but its present enough to make you want to keep taking it.... You might realize that you can binge on this stuff, stay awake for 2 days, sleep and wake up feeling surprisingly normal. Or at least i did.... It becomes less spectacular after the first couple re-doses but you still get very high. Try not to do this, this drug can't be exactly good for the body or mind.

Think about it this way. If you took 300mg of mephedrone and it was less than 100% pure, you'd get a weak effect. Then you can take a bit more until you get the desired effect.

If you dose mephedrone the way it is meant to be dosed every time, there's no way you can overdose! ;)
