MDMA compared to Mephedrone

Hello, I was wondering if anyone with experiences of the two could offer a comparison. I've done mephedrone a handful of times and I was wondering how similar Ecstasy is. Anyone who can comment after trying meph first and then MDMA would be especially helpful.

I'm the opposite (mdma for a couple years, then mephedrone ). Not to get your hopes down, but I enjoy mephedrone more at this stage. MDMA feels quite similar in many aspects- but it is much more profound and more of a deep emotional experience. Mephedrone is more energizing- MDMA is more of a relaxed feeling, though its quite social and will keep you up and dancing. Mdma is a visual experience moreso than mephedrone - little tracers to full on visual distortions. MDMA typically has more of a comedown the days after, unlike mephedrone, if you do mdma on a Saturday you will quite likely feel weird or depressed on Tuesday. Hope that gives you some insight! Again, that's purely my experience

not neccessarily true. I've rolled many times and i have many friends who have also..
not one of us have ever gotten stages of depression.
the next morning we might feel somewhat of a hangover, but that always has gone 100% away after the next day.
It can be different for everyone, but depression comes more with abuse in my opinion.
 
Yes & its legality depends on where you live.

MDMA is more empathetic, more mellow & has a slight psychedelia to it.

You're right- not necessarily. I merely warn, because with mephedrone, you tend to feel crappy as it's wearing off- but the following days don't feel any different or depressive. I usually feel fine after MDMA, but I've had times where I've felt crappy too.

I think the last post nailed it- MDMA is "magical", it's an event, an experience that transports you. It's deep and profound- I find mephedrone beautiful and happy, but I don't find it to be something that feels like it could change you in a deep way, or make you come to positive realizations about your life (perhaps it could, just doesn't feel that way for me). MDMA has more of a psychedelic edge that mephedrone lacks. The way people speak of LSD or mushrooms changing their perspective of the universe, or the significance of themselves- MDMA has that ability. Not everyone has a "deep" MDMA experience, but this is the best way I can define the differences for myself.

im no expert on the physics of this drug but at a guess id say mephedrone worked on the same receptors as mdma (serotonin)

so i think there would be some cross tolerance.

somebody please correct me if im wrong.
 
The one thing I think Mephedrone has most in common with MDMA is the chattiness. Lacks the overpowering feeling of empathy for one's fellow man as MDMA, but like MDMA, music is going to sound really, really good. You will also never jones for MDMA like you will when you run out of Mephedrone at midnight, LOL!

It will also give you saucer pupils like MDMA.
 
Meph does smell bad & it lingers, I've never noticed people actually smelling of it.
 
the stinky pre-ban stuff i used to get would make people stink. was awesome stuff though, godlike high from it
 
mephedrone is a great alternative, i use it regularly due to mdma prohibition and counterfeiting. I find the experience to be quite similar, just shorter in duration. I found a dose of about 4.71mg/kg orally does the trick for 3 hours or so and then comes down over the next 3-4. My only complaint is the duration, i like going to parties, taking my medicine before i walk in the door and leaving at 6am. With mephedrone i have to wait until the party is really going to take my medicine as it kicks in about 30 mins after ingestion of a gel-cap and runs dry before 3 or so hours later and i am left physically tired. Where with mdma i have the energy to go all night and a long drive home.

I was initially very skeptical of mephedrone, but after meeting some people from the forums I was convinced to give it a go and was wildly pleased with the results once i found proper dosing. The only annoying thing is chattyness, I can control my mouth on mdma, but on mephedrone all bets are off, the overwhelming urge to talk is quite powerful.

I did mdma first then meph sometime after, and I generally agree. i'll talk more about my meph experience specifically.

MDMA (pure molly): magical, lots of euphoria and lots of empathy, more emotional and connected. senses are increased, slight visuals. feelings of contentment. lasts a good 5 hours.

i take my mdma capsule, maybe one redose and i'm good through the night. usually pretty happy/afterglowing in the morning and following day

meph:
more energetic, fairly fast acting, but short lived. i feel a little euphoria, but more energy than happiness. no empathy or "magic". it does make me feel good, but not as clean as mdma. after about an hour i am compelled to redose, and i continue through the cycle of coming up, down, and redosing through the night. its easy to binge on this.

meph was kind of coke-y to me, not as intense or stimulating obviously. i think meph goes along well with drinking as well. i cant do alcohol with mdma, but it worked well with meph.

comedown: kind of harsh, i think it was because of the redosing throughout the night. had a lot of depression right after the comedown, but was okay in a day or two. no afterglow as such.
 
There was a shit ton of "molly" going around here for a month or so.

It was working for everyone, making us "roll," but it just didn't seem like MDMA. However, we continued on believing that it was pure, because it made us feel great, energized, talkative... but the empathy and feeling of ecstasy wasn't there, and the feeling would subside after a short period.

Now, I have only actually tried MDA; I thought that the "molly" was MDMA, because the MDA was all I had to compare it to. However (this is weeks and weeks after the molly was gone) the dude supplying it found out that it was mephedrone. This explains everything.

So, in my opinion,

Mephedrone is more speedy, less euphoric/empathogenic, and shorter in duration.

From what I've heard and seen, actual MDXX is more relaxed, more visual (tracers), more empathogenic and definitely a better overall feeling.

I'm actually really disappointed that it was mephedrone. I really thought I had the greatest purest molly ever. But it was just an imposter that someone ordered on the internet for 25 bucks a gram and sold for 80 bucks a gram.
 
MDMA is far better than Mephedrone in so many ways. I don't like Mephedrone at all, stay away from it. It's nice at first but if you keep abusing it it can get nasty.

That's just my opinion.
