I know this highly advised against but my experience recently(going on about 10-12 total times in my life i've rolled) has been that dosing the 2nd day has lead to a better peak than the first day. A couple weeks ago I dropped what I'm guessing was about 150 mg(tested, straight to black) on a friday and the roll was good but the peak was nothing special. The next day I took about 33% more and I had a much much better peak, as did my friend who is also semi-experienced and taking the same stuff, although he actually took less the 2nd day than the first.

Is this at all normal? I've read here that there is supposed to be a greatly diminished effect rolling within a couple days-weeks of each other but the 2nd day in a row came with a much better peak.

And I don't know if this related, but a couple months ago we had some untested stuff that we later found out was methylone. Took a decent amount on a saturday, it good not much a of a "peak". On sunday, I took a little more than half of what I had on saturday and had a significantly better peak.

Any thoughts? Besides, the obvious, which is never roll on consecutive days. Thanks

I've only had one mini-binge during my ecstasy use. I took 1 molly cap one night(don't know the mg). About 2 weeks later I took 2 of the same stash, and 2 days later I took 2 more. I rolled perfectly fine all 3 times, although the 3rd was a little less intense, none of the experiences fell short IMO. With that said, the next week after that was pretty rough mood wise, but manageable. It can be done, and it can be manageable, but for some people it may not work so well, but breaking the spacing rule every once in a while isn't likely to cause any serious problems. It's when you make a habit of it that it becomes an issue.

This really depends on your meaning of the word 'roll'! Lets just say you were at an awful club when your had your first drop - music was shitty, crowd was shitty etc. You go back to your home (or friends house/after club / park / beach etc) you drop again and this time the setting is perfect (for you) then it goes without saying that your going to have a better time than when you dosed in the shitty club / event.

Were you draw the line between a chemical reaction (MDMA leads to serotonin release = leads to good fun = the more serotonin you have = better 'roll') to the more comfortable you are with the setting leads to a better experience 'regardless' to your serotonin levels.

Could this be down to 'experience'? Possibly! I would say it has a lot more to do with set / setting though (IE get your setting right for the first drop and then the second / third drop shouldn't even come close). This again is down to you and what you want from the experience - your first drop could be the energetic explosive MDMA experience - your second dose could be the more 'smacky/floory' feeling - what you decide is the best is upto you.

Both times were identical settings, actually. The first from early septemeber was a day 2 and day 3 of a music festival with the same group of friends. The second time from a month ago was a friday/saturday at the same club, different dj but same style of music, and again same group of people

I'm judging just by the quality of my peak, which is pretty much what I judge all rolls by. I'm actually not much of a fan of the "smacky/floory" feeling. I kind of wish I was then I could never really "lose the magic". I'm all about the emotional intensity of the peak
