MDMA as maintenance for amphetamine withdrawal?

Hey folks! I know a person who has run out of Vyvanse and has a dependence on them. They won't be able to obtain any amphetamines for perhaps a week or so, which is causing some stress above that of simple withdrawal given that its exam and assignment time (university life). As MDMA is somewhat easier for this person to obtain in the current situation, I was wondering if anyone had any experience or thoughts on using low doses of MDMA to stave off withdrawal symptoms for medical amphetamines.

No, i think repeatedly taking mdma would be much more harmful than being off your meds for a week or so.
Despite both being amphetamines, both drugs have pretty different actions and effects.

No, like space said, it will definitley do more harm than help you.. Best bet is caffeine pills unfortunatley if you cant get ahold of any other stimulants such as ritalin, adderall, meth, street amphetamines etc.

That probably won't work, dopamine makes up only a small part of MDMA's effects, so the release is going to be much less than with straight amp. I think you'll feel worse once the roll is done than you did before, certainly if your point is to study and make assignments, taking MDMA will work counter-productive

"your friend" might benefit from taking some kind of precursor to Dopamine/Norepinephrine, that would be either L-Phenylalanine, L-Tyrosine or L-Dopa.
I sometimes use L-Tyrosine (500-1500 mg) on my off days (therapeutic use of Dexamphetamine) and it works great for me as long as I take it on a completely empty stomach.

Thanks everyone! L-tyrosine is a suggestion I've made already, caffeine pills I will add to the suggestion as well.

Since you have easy access to MDMA do you also have easy access to typical street speed? Speed off the street is usually just heavily cut amphetamine and will do the job just fine.

You need a benzo and a blunt(lol jk pot is just person preference tee-hee...) NOT another stimulant. especially one that will lower not only your dopamine further as well as serotonin even just slightly. In other words you may want to commit suicide or feel like complete shit if you didn't catch that li'l hyperbole..... or turn scizo fora a bit... (happened to me once lol)
Which are both common side effects from both substances. MDXX more with Seritonin than pure stims. or uppers. VYVANCE IS EASY TO QUIT YOU CAN DO IT! GO BUY SOME MELOTONIN HAVE A GREAT DREAM! GET TO SLEEP!
its an all natrual substance than puts you to sleep peacefully and not habit forming. YOU CAN PURCHASE IT OVER THE COUNTER AT WALGREENS-CVS-I BET WAWA N 7/11
OR
I recommend a nice walk meditation, read a book, watch a show, i know its hard when your all yakked up but do not continue the cycle, but just rest and lay back listen to some tunes.

good luckGOODLUCKGOOD LUCK=D

Speed isn't available in most parts of the world. If the user is in the US it's highly unlikely he can get street speed.

OP, MDMA would only make the problrm worse, MDMA is a Lot harder on the body and the mind than speed. it also stops working after a couple doses

No amphetamine causes withdrawal symptoms.

Wrong. Stopping long term use of amphetamines even at medicinal levels can cause various amounts of psychological withdrawal depending on the pattern of usage. While some don't experience it, it is very real.

Yeah, less physical withdrawal then opiets/benzos/alcohol. I smoke canibis every day and when i go withought I cant eat/sleep for several days, bad headaches, heart burn, hot flashes... Symptoms of withdrawl.

Sorry android_dream, that sounds like a real bummer. Dont take MDMA, you wont be a happy camper. I tryed it once, it draged the come down feeling out more, and than i stayed in bed for week.

Pizza and beer does the job just fine.

Physical withdrawal does not occur ever with any amphetamine.

Constipation is a physical withdrawal, isn't it? As in you become dependent on the stimulant to trigger a bowel movement.. I used meth for almost a year before going to jail and it was weeks before I could take a proper shit regularly. Days before I was even able to shit at all.

Also, the increased appetite and decrease in energy are fairly hard to overcome. Sleeping 16 hours at a time, trouble staying awake...
