MDMA and Tremors

My roommate recently took ~100mg of MDMA last Saturday night. Due to a medication he's on right now, he gets tremors every so often, usually when he's trying to do something that requires hand-eye coordination. After taking the MDMA, these tremors ceased completely. However, when he was off the drug, they came back.

Has anyone else experienced something like this? Does anyone know why this is happening?

What condition does he have and what kind of medication is he taking for it?
