On friday i went to a two day festival. at 3am i took a dutch domino, use to be supermans i believe. tested them and they came out good, got them from a reputable vendor that says each domino contains 200-220mg of mdma per pill and thats also what it says in pill reports. I also tested with the marquis test it results turned dark purple quickly.
Day 1 I took 1 pill, split in half and spaced out 1 hour. Day 2 I took 2 and a half of the same pills. Both rolls felt good, not too strong but good enough.
Sunday morning I still felt good, drove home at 1pm and slept till 7pm. Later that day around 5 am when I am trying to sleep i would get bad spasm and twiches when i started to fall asleep.
When i finally fell asleep i kept getting vivid nightmares that i would try to wake myself up from but i felt paralyzed and couldnt move and i would scream in my sleep. this happened 5 times in a row before i felt like i was able to control it and tell myself that its just a dream.
I have rolled 8-9 times prior to this week and have rolled consecutive days in the past (not smart) and never experienced these sleep paralysis or head tingles days after.
I have been taking rave aid after saturday since it has most of the supplements everyone recommends.
Is there any eta on when these sleep paralysis nightmares will stop? Im pretty sure its from depleted seratonin from what I have read since this is probably the most mdma ive taken in 2 days, but not by much.
It usually takes 200mg for me to get a good roll (weight 220 at 6'4) and all together I took 500mg total for both days.
Also, are there any foods or other supplements that can help with the sleep paralysis and spasm issues? thanks.

to add, i have got sleep paralysis nightmares when i took 6mg of melatonin, but never more than one at a time. also, my eyes seem very sensitive to light today

It could be the 'rave aid' supplement, possibly too much 5-htp, your body converts that to melatonin (via serotonin). I'd blame that & stop taking it first. If you react badly to melatonin, you should stop taking 5-htp too, or at least lower the dose. Probably want to ease up on the MDMA use for a while too. It sounds more like too much melatonin (which is created from serotonin), rather than a depletion, but I'm not a real doctor. If I search 'sleep paralysis serotonin' then drugs forums & David Icke are the top results, 'sleep paralysis melatonin' seems to give slightly more reputable medical sources. Since serotonin gets converted to melatonin it'd explain these reports of sleep paralysis in some people a while after taking MDMA, I think trying to increase serotonin (and therefore melatonin) levels further will just make the problem worse.

Try to expose your eyes to more blue light, get some daylight, it should help a bit. Light sensitivity is another side effect of too much melatonin, but if it's not too terrible then exposure to light will help you to stop producing more melatonin.

If the problem continues then see a real doctor, tell them about your MDMA & supplement use.

Sounds like more or less textbook side effects after a 2-day 500-mg binge. How often do you roll? If you do it infrequently, your comedown may last a few days, if you roll frequently it may last a few weeks (but cases vary a lot so those are ROUGH estimates). In any case, eating healthy, getting plenty of exercise and sleep, and avoiding drugs will help you recover faster.

yup, exactly. but if i read correctly that was 700mg in two days (3.5 dominoes á 200mg).
to be honest i would be surprised if there were no such aftereffects after dosing like that. what goes up must come down, or rather the serotonin that has been used up must be rebuilt.

Serotonin isn't really 'used up', it's converted to melatonin, which I think is causing these effects. There are very similar to reports of side effects from taking melatonin supplements & the OP has mentioned they experienced similar from melatonin. Too much serotonin being released is going to lead to too much melatonin produced from it later on. Trying to boost serotonin levels using 5-htp or similar supplements could be counter-productive & possibly dangerous, as it'll lead to even more melatonin & prolong these side effects. You should be able to regain your balance naturally just by eating properly, getting some daylight & exercise, avoiding MDMA or similar drugs & supplements, etc.

I took 700mg in the course of 4 hours. I would have terrible nightmares and anxiety attacks at night. Only at night though. I would think people were trying to kill me so i kept the lights on all night and didnt sleep. If i did fall asleep the nightmares would be terrible. I would also have brain zaps. It took about a week for it to stop. I went for walks at night to help get rid of the anxiety. Supplements are good but in your case i would not mess with your brain at all. Let time do all the healing. I found that 5htp made my symptoms worse. Hope you feel better.

no. that's what happens in the pineal gland during melatonin synthesis. the overwhelming majority of serotonin is metabolised by MAO into 5-OH-indoleacetaldehyde and then by ADH into 5-OH-indoleacetic acid
