MDMA and opiates, how long to wait?

Hey!
Usually most people say that you should wait atleast 2-3months with every MDMA sessision. I just wonder do you have to wait longer if you take any Opiate between these months? like Oxycontin.
I tought that they both work on the serotonin, or opiates work in another way like different synapses in the brain?
If so, how long before and after MDMA is it "safe" to take a moderate opiate dose?

Opiates work entirley different than MDMA. Opiates affect dopamine, MDMA works on serotonin. I take some sort of opioid every day and there is no loss of effects when I roll. I even take small maintenance doses while rolling so I don't go into withdrawal. Short answer to your question, there is no wait time.

Ps. Opiates are fantastic for MDMA comedowns ;)

Okay! do opiates work on dopamine only? you sure? always thought it was serotonin.. can someone else confirm? :)
 
Only some opioids like tramadol, tapentadol, and a few others do. Typical opiates like morphine, coedine, and their close derivatives (oxycodone, hydrocodone etc...) are completely safe to take with opioids and do not cause serotonin depletion.

As long as you're not combining MDMA with opiates at the same time, then the opiates will not change anything about the MDMA nor make it any more dangerous. Opiates are highly addictive though, so be careful there.
 
Definately be weary of addiction. Just use them on comedowns, it's easy to justify more opiates on the days that your feeling blue or drained. Also, taking full doses opiates with your rolls is a waste IME, they kinda dull each other out a bit but on the comedown they can be lifesaver.

Personally I'd probably wait until 2-3 days after the last opiate dose just to be CERTAIN there would be no dulling of the roll, but I'm extremely picky when it comes to MDMA. I'd hate to waste a roll for something as dull as opiates :\

I'd say 24h is probably ideal, as long as you aren't feeling the effects it shouldn't matter too much though.
 
2-3 days? That's a bit excessive lol, you can get away with taking MDMA 6 hours after a short acting opiate and notice no dulling effect. I guess it depends on the opioid, something like methadone will probably have a slight dulling effect for 24hours but oxy or hydro, I'd say 8 hours tops. For me if I'm sober, I'm good to roll.
 
That was one of my favorite drug combinations. Peaking on thizz, and IV heroin / eating a bunch of percs. I definitely do not recommend it, it's not safe to do.. By far some of the most euphoric evenings I've ever experienced however. No one else?

As an opiate addict, I find MDMA to be very underwhelming. No 'sparkle' or 'buzz' or 'love.

The cure for me? Dont take opiates for 24 hours beforehand, preferably 36 - you want to be as close to withdrawing as you can handle. I also find if I can make it past withdrawals, clean I feel like I'm on mild MDMA doses in everyday life. Not that I've been clean anytime recently.

Maybe my brain is extra retarded?

Actually MDMA is a triple monoamine releaser. Serotonin, dopamine, and the ever so unfriendly norepinephrine.

I enjoy combing MDMA with hydromorphone and or bupe. Just be careful because combing drugs isn't the safest of practices.
 
Used some dilaudid after coming down to just residual effects on my last roll, it was super euphoric and the rush was fantastic also put me in a good spot for getting some good sleep afterwards.
 
I realize people have posted they take opiates while rolling, but if you are on a daily bupe maintenance dose (2mg oral or less), would it be OK (safe) to take MDMA??? Some people say you "can" but "shouldnt". Does anyone know what the actual potential pharmacology / physical dangers be?
