Your right, nitrous isn't a psychedelic, it's a dissociative, but it's different from ketamine, dxm, pcp, and other dissociatives. Your experience may be different, but a high enough dose of nitrous will simply make me unconscious not put me in a void(which I assume you'd liken to a k-hole?)

I apologize for my rude response. Your post hit a nerve, but my response was unwarranted. I changed it several times because I was angry. Guess that's why a guy should cool down before spouting off.

My experience with nitrous seemed to be very unusual. At the start of the experience I had a strong flashback of over 25 years ago being a kid at the dentist in rural Mississippi where they would load us kids so full of nitrous for routine dental fillings that looking back I remember out of body experiences floating above my body looking down at the dentist chair.

After the metallic ringing and buzzing in my extremities, everything simply became black, dark and void and I was absolutely paralyzed. I could not hear, see or speak, and the terror was unimaginable. I grew up in a fundamentalist Christian home, and it was what I imagined hell would be like - simply a void of nothingness and a knowledge that I would be there alone forever. Subjectively this lasted an "eternity" and I awoke with a gasp and shot straight up out of the pillow into which I had fallen with my nitrous mates looking at me with concern at the expression on my face.
 
i made a bad decision on that combo 1 time. my friend has a mustang muscle car and one night we were all (8 of us) eating MDMA and he goes out to the mustang and comes back in with his NOS bottle i said hell no, but did it any way. next thang i no every one is passed out and im outside fucking my friends girlfriend at his house on his deck. woke up the next morning dazed from the night b-4, and being reminded about wat had happened from one of his other friends (female) well to say the least she told and were no longer friends. (cant turn a ho into a housewife) were not friends (his girlfriend) sooooooooo i guess its ok !!!!!!!!!! lol

But I think I understand now. Your experiences with n2o definately are unusual, at least IMO. I've never known anyone to describe what you felt.

It's quite okay. I tend to take things waaaay too seriously sometimes. It's all good. :-)
 
Nitrous and MDMA is fantastic!! The body buzz and euphoria are incredible, though short lived. I tend to do it *just* as I start coming off the peak of my MDMA high. This way I still get a strong effect from it, but its not going to bring me down from my peak like some people have suggested.
 
Vancbc, those are interesting experiences and yes I can understand how that could happen.

The biggest problem I find with Nos is definitely the loop that it creates.


Its fun but after a few times i think its a bit boring.

I know this is settled already but I still want to chime in. I just recently experienced something similar to what vanbc was describing, I actually thought I was dead. (Feel free to check out my trip report, I'm pretty sure it's still on the first page of Trip Reports). I have never been so terrified off of a substance before in my life (well, two substances anyway).
 
Nitrous is so damn good, it's better than oxygen.

I ordered another 1/4 litre dispenser just because i love it so much aha.

Nitrous + MDMA is gooood.

I've not done mdma for a few weeks now.. hammered it for years.. but when i next do it I wont bother unless i have a nice supply of nitrous (which I will have aha)

nitrous nitrous nitrous!

yeah I read that report, didn't sound like fun at all.
Nitrous has never "betrayed" me though which is why I was kinda iffy about vancbc's statement earlier, and I've done probably a few tanks worth of nitrous total by myself. Not tanks by myself in a row or anything, I just mean in total. But I understand now what you guys are talkin about.
 
I do too but i love those feelings of dying and eternal hell it's beautiful in it's own way.

It only happen with ridiculous doses of ketamine and several double balloons for me.. but it's like instant K-hole Siren land.. where you think you've just had your head chopped in two or something..

I love it though because I always sense i'm just high it's just interesting new feelings <3
 
I did k and nitrous once, it was one of the most intense drug experiences of my life. I only wish I had more k that night though, I only had like 200mg and even though I had like 1/4 tank(~300 baloons) worth of nitrous at the time nitrous by itself isn't all that spectacular IMO.
I hope to do that again reeeeeeeeeal soon =D

I just love dissociatives so nitrous + k was like heaven for me :) I wanna do dxm + k + nitrous some day I bet that'll be even better.

i've had xtc + n02. that equals heaven. it's such a sexy, floating, euphoric, let the world hold me feeeling.

wow. so good!

haven't done n02 for 2.5 months now tho. i hear it can become crack for some. and a loss of b12 from heavy usage? um...no tanks.

lol i'm used to putting n02 nictric oxide...the gas created after ingesting L-arginine. my bad. thinkin' about workin' out stuff.

however, K is indeed used for animals (tranquilizer):

from wiki (search ketamine):

"In veterinary anesthesia, ketamine is often used for its anaesthetic and analgesic effects on cats, dogs, rabbits, rats, and other small animals. Veterinarians often use ketamine with sedative drugs to produce balanced anaesthesia and analgesia, and as a constant rate infusion to help prevent pain wind-up. I love mdma and nitrous.. Though as some have said not during the peak because the combo blows me to outer space and when I come back, the mdma high doesn't come anywhere near as close as fun. So I keep cracking more bulbs.. and before I know it the whole night becomes nang night!

I love lsd and nitrous with weed, that tri combo takes me places that I never knew could be possible. I love head fucks.

To me, nitrous just as I am edging off the peak from MDMA with some good trippy music (anyone tried Chem Brother's Das Spiegel??) gives me the giggles and good times when done as a group simultaneously. All that giggling and moaning with pleasure, the neighbours must think we're having an orgy! :D

Then after, when its time to call it a night, going to bed with a couples of nangs beside me always sends me off to la la land no trouble.
