MDMA and Dayquil

I ended up getting sick yesterday so I went to the store and picked up some dayquil. I took 2 of them before bed that night. I had a concert to go to the next day so when I got to the concert I took 2 more dayquils. I also had 100mg of mdma on me. It has been around 1 year since I rolled so I figured I should have a good time.

I was a little damp from swimming earlier and I had the mdma in a pill capsule. When I got in the concert I noticed the capsule got pretty wet as well as the mdma but I didn't seem to lose any (I don't think). Any ways, I took the pill and ended up barely rolling. Friends all took 100mg of the same stuff and rolled like crazy while I get a very little head rush and thats about it.

Now I've read that dayquil has DXM in it and DXM is bad to mix with MDMA. Could the dayquil negate the effects of the mdma? I'm thinking:

1. Dayquil negates the effect of mdma?
2. I lost some mdma when the pill got wet and took a lower dose

I've only rolled 2 times before this and I've always waited a year between rolls so I doubt it has anything to do with tolerence/losing the feeling. Also for the small amount of dayquil I took with the MDMA it wasn't dangerous or anything was it?

Hm.. strange situation indeed.

Keep in mind that mdma is ussualy in a salt form so it would be water soluble. I would peg that as the perpetrator for your lack of effect rather than the dxm. Dxm while on mdma causes the brain to be flooded with serotonin to a dangerous degree even at therapeutic doses in some cases but not always. In some cases it can increase the desired effects of mdma but isn't worth risking.

So next time.. don't swim with your drugs on you :/
Or don't put it in wet pockets etc.
