I know you guys are sick of seeing this thread, but after reading through several of them I'm still unclear on the combo as most of these threads have had mixed opinions. Here's my situation, i'll be at a show that runs until very early in the morning and I'm just looking for energy in the beginning to keep me going until i drop. I have several 20mg xr's that i was planning on sharing with whoever in our group wanted some. The plan was to split the pills into 5-10mg portions and possibly crush the beads so it'll hit faster.

From what I've read, adderall can cause cross-tolerance with mdma due to dopamine and norepinephrine release by the addy. However, aren't these transmitters only a small portion of the actual roll? Doesn't most the 'magic' come from the serotonin and oxytocin release? So wouldn't a partial tolerance to the first two only cause a minor diminish in the roll?

I was planning on taking a larger amount of mdma than normal(175mg), so maybe the sheer amount would make up for any tolerance? Sorry, alot of questions, here are my main concerns:

1. Would taking the adderall noticeably diminish the roll?
2. If so, by how much?
3. Would lowering the adderall dosage to a mere threshold of let's say 5mg still have the same effects?
4. If i do decide to take this combo, which would be more diminish the roll less, ir or xr pills?

The cross tolerance isn't the problem, but the dopamine/serotonin release is.

There is a HUGE downregulation of the receptors when you do this combo, way more so than if you were to take MDMA by itself.

If I could recommend something different and way less toxic, it would be a 5 hour energy. Hell, you can even get caffeine pills for really cheap from Safeway.

Its not worth it :)
 
I just pop a 200 mg caffeine pill before i roll. Keeps me going all night! screw the addy...i've heard it kills the roll. Either way, caffeine is the way to go. Cheap and easy to come by. Def gets you going
 
Yikes man in my opinion there is absolutely no point to adding caffeine to a roll. All that does is add to side effects and physical stimulation, as caffeine provides zero euphoria... A strange decision in my book. You really don't need to take a stimulant when you take a stimulant, they don't really help each other out they usually add problems with no benefits.
