MDMA 24 hours after tramadol?

I know this question has been covered in other threads, but my post has some specifics that I were not able to find answers when using the search engine.

I have been taking tramadol daily for a few months at about 400-600mg a day. I haven't taken any since last night and aside from feeling a little anxious I am not doing through WDs or anything. I also have poppy tea to help with that.

I want to take MDMA and/or LSD tonight as it's my birthday, but know mixing tram and MDxx or LSD can be really bad.

1) Considering the amount of tramadol I take daily, is 24 hours enough time to wait before taking MDMA/LSD? I am guessing it is a close call, but wanted to check and see what other people's experience was with this.

2) If 24 hours isn't long enough, how much time should I wait?

i might be wrong, but i thought that tramadol isnt dangerous to take with classical psychedelics, although it may blunt their effects.

MDMA and tramadol is an apparently dangerous combo, serotonin syndrome and whatnot.

i believe 24 would be enough time after a single dose, but seeing as youre taking pretty high doses every day, it could stick in your system longer. to provide a warning and some anecdotal info, my first time eating molly i had taken 400mg of tramadol 6-8 hours before hand. i knew the dangers and idiotically still did the molly. now i had no ill effects whatsoever besides from what seemed like some tightness in my chest an hour before bed, then i actually slept very well.

now this is by NO MEANS a suggestion to do what i did, i seriously could have died that night. i must have just gotten lucky.
hopefully someone else will know whether 24 hours is enough to get a few months of high dose tramadol out of your system, if it is, i think youll be a-okay. if you could just do the pod tea to stave off WD's for an extra day or two, i think thatd be enough time.

if i were you though, id just take a couple of acid tabs tonight, ive taken acid the day after tramadol, no ill effects. a friend of mine ate mushrooms while on tramadol, and besides not tripping very hard, he was also fine.

I'm going to shift this over to ED but before I do would warn you to not take MDMA after tramadol just in case as tramadol affects serotonin and has been known to cause some serotonin syndrome symptoms when mixed with other drugs. I might not have all the facts, but it is always better to be safe than sorry.

Shambles had a really bad trip taking some acid after only 100mg of tramadol throughout the day:

Yup, plenty of stomach cramps all night, but also was in unbelievable muscular pain from head to foot - my back was the worst. Most of it is a blackout cos I was delirious for a few hours rather than tripping. I have never known pain like it. Wouldn't believe pain like that was even possible

Every muscle in my body was in spasm and pure agony for many hours. My cramps had cramps. And those cramps had cramps. I remember jerking about kinda spasming and there was a lot of writhing and probably bellowing and wailing and screaming I suspect. And a hell of a lot of running around pissing all over the place and myself. My place is not pretty at the best of times but became a lot worse overnight.

I was very drowsy when coming up on the acid then got progressively more stimulated until massively overstimulated, wild eyed and dripping with sweat. The last thing I remember before going nutso for a while is pacing around frantically and stripping naked.

I'd say around two hours between dropping the acid and blacking out. Came out of it four or five hours later and was tripping normally for another three or four hours other than the pain which gradually faded over the following 24 hours.

I don't want to have this happen to me.

Would taking methylone or mephedrone be any less riskier than MDMA in this situation? Also, would taking a small amount of benzos or GHB/GBL help reduce the risk?

Both MDMA and tram lower the siezure threshold so taking them together is not a good idea. I am not sure what the half life is on the tram but I would wait atleast a few days just to be sure.

and since when can taking MDMA and LSD together be bad? I have done it many times and know many people who have done it and seen many people on this sight talk about doing them together....I don't remeber anyone saying it turn out bad.

Well, I decided to try just a taste of mephedrone and experienced to problems. I then took a few low doses staggered over a couple hours. After waiting a while, I took a little more and enjoyed the hell out of it. Ended up taking a mid to high dose throughout the night and had a great birthday. I realize this was not the safest thing to do, but then again using drugs is not always safe. I had gone 28 hours without taking any tramadol (having taken about 400mg throughout yesterday) and experienced zero interaction between the meph and tramadol.

I am not saying this is the safe, but I wanted to go ahead and share my experience. After a few low doses, I was confident that a potentially negative inteaction was not taking place.

I'm sitting on my porch smoking cigarettes as the sun rises reminiscing about the amazing night I had. I regret not going about this in a "harm reduction" sort of way, yet I feel this amazing night was well worth it.

I certainly don't recommend others to take these risks, but I can say that I was lucky enough to have a great time without any complications.

Ideally, drug use would always be safe. Bluelight does an amazing job at promoting safety and I support them 100%. That being said, I feel that with the precautions I took, the risk ended well for me. This is not always the case, but I got lucky. I rarely go against advice taken in the name of harm reduction and do not plan on doing so in the future.
