So! A friend tells me that he has some Molly and his b-day is coming up. I tested, and all went well. I told him that I would be happy to join and keep an eye on everyone. We had decided on San Fransisco, and my friend had been drinking (likely heavily) during the day. I drove and he had another friend who had decided to come along. It had been ~2 months since I had last played with Molly.
So the three of us were headed to SF and the birthday boy was excited to take his pill, it will be the first time he has ever rolled. I told him to wait until we were there, didn't feel like rolling and driving was a good combination, especially since we were going to the city and pedestrians were abundant. Upon arriving, the first thing we do is take a point each. It was about 7:30 pm and we had just started walking, the sun was just setting but there was still some light out. Businesses were open all over the place, and the streets were still crowded and lively. After walking for about a half hour, I feel a pit in my stomach followed by some unsettling, but not overwhelming paranoia.
I figured I should check on my friends, birthday boys friend seemed to be okay, birthday boy looked like he was a little overwhelmed. He wasn't forming words too well, and I began to panic wondering what the hell we had just ingested.. It didn't feel quite right, I just felt scared and overwhelmed by the intensity of the city, and his unsettling reaction to this pill had me even more worried. At this point, I sit down with my two friends and both of them seem pretty uneasy. I come to find that they had each taken 2, fortunately I had only taken one and could tell that I was experiencing less of the feelings they were. People started looking, although I could have just been paranoid. I wanted to get out of public, and to make matters worse, when we had stood up and went back on the streets, a psychotic homeless man was shouting at random people passing by. At this point my paranoia had set in full, I wanted to get WAY the hell away from the city. Fortunately, we quickly found a place to crash for the night, upon getting inside we just relaxed for a few minutes.
Upon getting into a safe place away from the intensity, my paranoia was still a little prominent and I was concerned with what we had ingested. This was unusual, not my first rodeo with Molly but I had never felt like this so I was concerned. Five minutes later, it hit me. Everything changed! My paranoia had completely dissipated and I was ready to go back outside and explore some local businesses. This was certainly an intense experience. Molly I had taken in the past was certainly similar, but nowhere near the same level of euphoria / energy / empathy. Everything smelled, felt, and was incredible.
To play it safe, we had stayed in for most of the night, we had went out twice to gather supplies. Likely the best four hours of my life as we listened to music and just sat in a room talking about life. The birthday boy had come around pretty well too and he was no longer tripping balls.
Unfortunately, there isn't much more to say about it. A great time though!
I am curious, though. Has anyone else felt such intensity from the onset of Molly? It was pretty unpleasant on its own, but the city vibe certainly made it a lot worse.
