MDEA with marquis (HELP NEEDED)

Hi all. Just tested a few pills a while ago and got this reaction.

The photo isn't from my test but it's the exact same color. The bluish black is mandelin, the purplish black is marquis. Im using a bunk police test kit. I proceeded to try these pills and discovered that they where not MDMA but rather MDEA (most likely). Id like to know if it's possible to tell the difference between MDMA and MDEA with these kits, people seem to differ on the subject. I have heard that MDEA gives a more pinkish/purple hue, while MDMA gives a more blue/black, or purely black color. Im a little confused as iv only ever tested two substances with this kit. Would MDMA get a different reaction with marquis, or would it be the same ?. Iv seen quite a few tests on youtube ect where marquis goes bluish purple to black, or black immediately. Id like to know if this pinkish purple to black is distinct for MDEA, or if its also a color that highlights MDMA. What i consumed was definitely MDEA, im just wondering if it's even possible to differentiate with marquis.

if this pinkish purple to black is normal for MDMA then why do pictures/youtube clips of an MDMA positive marquis test show a more bluish to black or pure black reaction ? (could this be a case of the particular test kit, the marquis solution is yellow for example. it seems to be clear in other test kits). if people could post pictures of their mdma positive marquis reactions with their replies it would help, cheers
 
That's a possibility pothole. However the only explanation for that sort of color with Marquis would be MDMA + Amphetamine. As i understand Marquis is supposed to go a blueish black or black color quite quickly. Going on the effects i think this was MDEA tho. It was similar to MDMA but it was very sedative accompanied by a strong body high. Control over cognitive functions was low compared to MDMA. There was euphoria but much less empathy. My tolerance was very low at the time i consumed it, so i could tell that it wasn't MDMA easily. My guess is that this was either a. a mild dose of MDxx + amphetamine or (more likely) b. MDEA. If people could post pictures of MDEA reactions it would help. Years ago the companies selling the test kits claimed that MDMA could be differentiated from MDEA by the shade of purple on Marquis

MDEA is extremely rare as opposed to MDMA and their reactions to marquis will be the same. MDEA is not particularly sought after by anyone (i've never heard of anyone preferring it over MDMA or MDA) and as a result is very rarely synthesized. It is no easier to synthesize MDEA than it is MDMA and especially not MDA. You more than likely received MDMA and set and setting played a role or you're starting to lose the magic. I can take a dose of MDMA these days after not having used in six months and feel no empathy/love more just a munted, jaw locked, body pleasure. It's very common that MDMA use over time diminishes those 'special' effects.

But back to your original question, there is no way to tell the difference between MDEA and MDMA with marquis. Both will have the same reaction.
