I read that mda and mdma has different tolerance but i just want to confirm.

Say taking MDA at an average dose 0.2-0.4 for day 1 and then taking mdma 0.2-0.4 on day 2, would day 2 be affected as in the mdma won't hit as hard ?

MDMA and MDA don't make your brain produce more serotonin, they consume the serotonin that's already in your brain. So your serotonin levels need time to recover before you could use either one safely or feel its full effects. Separate from this, they do appear to have cross-tolerance (building a tolerance to one also builds a tolerance to the other).

Anything over .2 of actual pure MDA is ALOT!
I found best to combine the 2..:) about .75 mg MDA, and .75 mdma combined is awesome! And lasts quite a while as well.

Shulgin researched this... can't source or quote it but he definitely DID look into this, hoping someone can back me up on this... but research that shit man it was in one of his books, check that out before you attempt this because he's the expert!

NVM, here it is:

"The measure of the degree of tolerance that can be shared between different drugs, called cross-tolerance, can be used as an estimate of the similarities of their mechanisms of action. In other words, if A and B are somehow seen by the body as being similar, then a normally effective dose of A will make a next-day's normally effective dose of B weaker than expected. Or not active at all. And B will do the same job on A. If two drugs are different in their ways of doing things in the body, there is most often no cross-tolerance seen. This was described for MDMA and MDA, and is the basis of the argument that they act by distinctly separate mechanisms. A person who used what would be held as an active dose of MDMA for several days lost all response to the drug. He was tolerant to its effects. But an exposure to an effective dose of MDA at the time that tolerance to MDMA was complete, provided a normal response to the MDA. The drugs are not cross-tolerant and the body recognizes them as distinct individuals."

This. The body and brain is a little more complex than you think. Just because something releases similar neurotransmitters, does not mean they share absolute cross-tolerance. It's likely that MDA is broken down by different enzymes and has a slightly different mechanism to MDMA therefore it is still able to work. I would say that the cross-tolerance is minimal with regard to subjective effects. That's not to say taking them near each other is not damaging to the brain. Both act on serotonin and have ways of destroying serotonin that could synergize, just like consistent MDMA-use, if taken in quick succession.

This here too!

Although the great Shulgin put his health on the line for us all and well-documented his findings AKA Trip Reports, lets appreciate that, OP is the high really worth the risk?

Thanks for all the useful responses ! but how do people last 2 day events ? without being sober on one of the days of course. I know its stupid to do it two times in a row but just looking for answers

Smoke, drink, first day, have fun that day, then roll second day. I always found this best way to end festie on a bang!..;)
