Bluelighter
There was a huge rave and I was excited. This was to be my first rave---and my first time to try ecstacy. I wasn't really sure what to expect. All I knew about raves was to expect a lot of lights and music. And all I knew about Ecstacy was you're supposed to drink plenty of water---but not too much.
I arrived at the rave with my friends Kate and Michael. Kate had never tried X before either, but Michael was fairly experienced. The lights, music, and trippy graphics on the huge screan behind the stage were enough to blow your mind. I shuffled through the crowds with Kate, looking around and trying to figure out who was selling X. Michael dissapeared in the crowd.
Eventually I saw a guy in a big Cat in the Hat style hat and he sold me and Kate each a pill of X and we bought one for Michael too. We took the pills and a moment later we found Michael who had been smoking a blunt with some people he had just met. I danced for a while in the colourful strobe lights while I waited for the mysteriouse little white butterfly pill to kick in.
After 30 minutes I still wasn't feeling anything. And then 45 minutes passed and I was about ready to just buy another pill. And then after about 50-55 minutes, I started really feeling it. The feeling is hard to explain because it was so intense, but I just felt really really REALLY wonderful! Michael asked me if I was feeling it yet and I said I was.
He asked me what it felt like and I wasn't sure what to say. Then I said, "It feels like the best feeling in the whole world!" I felt better than I had ever felt before as I moved through the crowds of people, the lights, the music, everything. Everything seemed wonderful, bright, happy, colourful, smiling. I made frequent trips to the restroom to refill my waterbottle again and again.
Each time I would glance in the mirror and be shocked at how dilated my eyes were. You couldn't see the blue part at all! Finally I sat down against the wall with Michael and Kate and just watched everybody. And then I started trippin like crazy. I was seeing double but not like I had ever seen double before. I saw TWO of everyone and everything and both looked so equally real that I couldn't honestly not tell the difference between the two.
Everyone who walked by had a double imagine following them about 3 feet behind. And people seemed to walk in and out of each other, appearing and dissapearing. I just sat there watching it in amazement. And then the whole room seemed to warp in a big swirling motion. The glow sticks just about blew my mind.
It was also vastly incredible. And that lasted for about 30 minutes and then the effects began to fade. But it was a crazy crazy experience that I will NEVER forget! It was one of the best days of my life!
