Web Excellent post. It's really irritating me people want to start bashing Ultraworld and Buzzlife. They are 2 of THE LEAST sketchy promotion companies in this country, IMHO :p Thanks much :D
 
BBB is, hands down, my absolute favourite DJ. Close second: Humpty Vission. I wish he would be there =/ RHV and Keoki, too... man.. that'd be one kick ass party.
 
Its time to start thinking about hotels. I know a few of us a lot of us who talk OFF of Bluelight have discussed getting the rooms at the same hotel (not the same rooms tho) and I think thats the best because if the after and pre parties are what makes this events, the hotel we select will be essential for the fun.

The one most of us stayed at last year was great with the balcony and we really didnt have people complaining on us for drinking out in the hallways either (well they were more like balconys). That place is defintely an option and was pretty close to the event without being close enough that we'd be sharing a hotel with a bunch of stinky ravers :)

Hotels! I think a hotel would be great. I haven't participated in a BL meet for almost 4 years now... I guess it is time to meet all the new people.

Maybe a new thread for the hotel meetup? That way we could coordinate better? Just a thought...... (I only get those once every 5 years!)

Bad Boy Bill will be there also, for those interested. :)

BTW - All hotel info really should be kept OFF the board for security purposes.

I'm pretty sure there's a few people you could contact about such info. But it's a good idea to keep all such converstaions OFF of the board. For your security, and for everyone elses.

AMEN!! Great statement!! I've read enough people's post about not going to this event. Your lost, you're only going to miss out on a fun & memorable event.
Why do you think major music magazines (URB, SPIN, Lotus), djs, producers, and other party production companies have rank & classified Starscape as one of the best dance music festivals in the U.S. Its because its one of the best events showcasing the arts & EDM. That says allot about the integrity of the production company (Ultraworld) thats throwing this event. Its been rough for Lonnie & Ultraworld, but I'm sure this year's event will be the quality of Ultraworld as we know it.

call me dumb but what does P.O.C stand for?

If it has something to do with who is coordinating meetup stuff then I'm all about it =D I had fun helping to organize and coordinate stuff last year, although for awhile it was a bit of a headache. That email list thingy I did for us last year ended up being more frustrating than I thought it would be. But in the end it was totally worth it.

Jamie (Dreamgirlie19) and I make a great team for meetup planning stuff this year. W000000000000t =D
