MD, Baltimore - 07.24.04 - Starscape 2004 **REVIEW**

Northeast CT - BMore = 6 hours.

I'm not sure how long from Boston - BMore. I'd estimate 7.5, depending upon the route you take.

Jamal could probably answer you more accurately, James.

^^ when you sit in Friday afternoon rush hour traffic for four hours trying to cross the George Washington Bridge, MA - B-More = 12 hours.

.....have fun, guys. SS is three days before I fly home to MA for two weeks:\...

Yeah, we hit traffic in the Bronx too. Fortunately, though, it was 10 PM traffic as opposed to rush hour.

I felt so bad for you guys last year when Melissa called to update me on where you were on the road. Damn it took you guys forever :(

And you should fly down 3 days early PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!!! This year's Starscape will NOT be the same without you!! I had so much fun with you last year :D it would not have been nearly the same experience had you not been there. Think of all the memories from last year *sniffles* *busts out picture album and gets nostalgic* The hotel fun alone was great! :D

Plllleeeeeeeaaaaaassssseeeee come *cries* :(

hmmmm... I suppose you guys could always start up a collection for my broke-as-a-joke-in-Cali ass. ;) other than that, sorry... my roommate and I fly into Boston on the 28th or 29th, and leave on July 11th. :\ I'll be sending out an invitation-slash-demand for you all to come to Cape Cod for the 4th of July in Provincetown, though! A trip home without seeing y'all just wouldn't be a trip home. :)

Love, Katie

I-95 to 287 to 87 over the tappan zee bridge onto the garden state or nj turnpike, skips right over teh george washington. I'll never get on that bridge unless I absolutley have to.

I would NEVER EVER EVER tale that bridge. Terrible...

kev, its after i believe. Also it didnt collapse on its own...its all the damn fires fault ;) I actually drove down to nyc last weekend and we took 95 some of the way, it didnt add any extra time ont he way down going the detour but coming home on a sunday afternoon, oh boy did it cause us to be in the car forever and a day

steve, is 287 before or after the bridge that collapsed last week?

8o whoa thats scary.

Last year was great for me cause I lived 20 minutes from the hotel everyone was at :p That was nice.

This year we have to drive 4 hours to get there :\ But it's a drive I've already done several times what with going back home and visiting a lot already ;) Though normally I've done it alone and its boring. But for SS I'll be dragging 3 BL'ers with me =D I'm sure the ride will be much more entertaining =D

Kev, it's way after, and the bridge didn't collapse on 95, they removed it because of structual damage. they have already replaced it with a temporary bridge, but are being incredibly strict about the 45mph speed limit. I saw 4 people get pulled over in a row all within a 2 mile stretch of road for going over 45 in that area of bridgeport.

I Believe you can get to the tappan zee from the merritt as well if you don't want to take the thruway.

it'd take somewhere between 6 and 7 hours from boston to maryland. burn yourself a few cd's, and bring yourself a few friends.... you'll see how quick the ride is and how much it was worth it.
it definatly makes for a good road trip, that's 1/2 the fun.
