Ok, on with the fun! :D Yay Starscape! Im so glad theyre putting real planning into this one and that it will be in June instead of September!
 
And seriously people... I'm going to do my part to coordinate the meetup and stuff :) I put a lot of work into it last year (the email list and yahoo group thingy) and I think it turned out great (no I am NOT saying it turned out great just cause of the work I did :p). So, I'm definitely getting on this email list thing again. I think it was a great help to everyone and we had such a great meetup!!

If you did not give me your email last September, or if it has changed since, please PM me with it :)

And if anyone wants to help me out with the email list thing (dreamgirlie19 was an EXCELLENT partner in helping last year) let me know :)

yay!!! i will be there. i missed last years because i was so busy with school, and that will not happen again! this one is after the school year is over, so my mind will be as far from teaching as possible! i can't wait to see everyone and meet some more BLers:):)
 
I think the email idea is great and all, but i know personally i get tons of spam, and when i sign online i hate reading thru emails. So i decided to do something different..

I made a messageboard. I have used this particular service for a long time to keep in touch with friends when i moved cross country. Its reliable (never down), fast, and easy.

No need to worry about strangers viewing details you dont want them to know, no need to worry about sketchy people posting and reading out stuff. I selected an option that members only can view anything (you get a big fat error message if you try otherwise ;) ) If anyone feels they would like more protection so to speak than that, i will password encode the forum.

If the lovely starlightgeminii had your email address from last year than you will be receiving an email from me shortly, otherwise post here and if your worthy ill PM ya the link ;)

Extra special thanks to Dreamgirlie for her AWESOME idea. The board is great. I'm emailing her the email addresses you guys gave me last year and she'll send out emails as appropriate.

If you attended last year's Starscape, or if she or I know you, or if you are vouched for by someone I met at last year's Starscape, or someone she or I know, you will get an email. Like I said, I met 50 BL'ers last year so... pretty much everyone will be able to be a part of this private board. Unless you're new. In which case, please don't take it personally and we'd love to meet you and all. You just can't view the private board :\

SS was the lowlight of my trip to Baltimore last year.

Maybe this time I'll go for the people, and stick at the hotel for the people.

Not a bad idea, actually. Most of my memories involve times at the hotel. And the time spent at Starscape went by way too fast.

I however will most definitely be doing the hotel AND the event, as there are TONS of other people back "home" that I have to see when I visit for this :) That and, I fuckin miss parties since nothing goes on up here in the mountains of PA :X I NEED TO DANCE =D
 
Starscape June 26th.?????? WTF!! What happened to the tradition of it always being the first wknd. of June (and speciafically always the same wknd. of my birthday). So I'm bummed out about the date, but I'll still be there without a doubt.

Yeah, I had the same disappointment :\ I was hoping it would be June 12... since June 11 is my birthday and I was already planning to go visit MD for that. But whatever :p
