Security consists of a few (my guesstimate is a dozen max) of police just walking around and really not looking for anything...They are just there for the people's safety and fights and vandalism...They could bust 300 people there with drugs and it would do nothing to the War on Drugs, and they know that...I even saw 2 of them last year walking around eating fucking snowcones.=D

Last year, I literally blew the remains of a glass bowl near an officer's face and he laughed at me and told me to "pocket it"....the security there is fucking awesome to be honest...They carry flashlights and even warn you if they're coming your direction so you don't do anything stupid....They check your backpacks and do a small frisk upon entering...don't bring any outside food or drink...last year, I had to donate $20 worth of Vitamin Water to the security staff and they just laughed, thanked me, and let me go inside without any search....most of the security are natives of Baltimore who are just there to make a quick buck, so they don't give a fuck....if you're doing something "sketchy" just look all around you and you'll be fine...it's outside in a park with trails and woods and shit so it's really easy to do your business...

Starscape is by far the best festival that the East coast has to offer!

about a 6.5 hour drive. its not so much the party that gets me there, as much as the people i know i will get to chill with.
 
don't think it's happening for me this year :( I had my first day of my summer math class....that damn text book cost me $119 in used condition for a 5 week class...ridic.

Other than that some of my peeps backed out which means the hotel costs more and the ticket price is so high at the door now....plus gas, tolls, food and what not....jsut don't think I can do it this year. The lineup leaves much to be desired which is kind of the icing on the cake at this point.

What saddens me the most is I haven't missed a SS in the past 6 years and I won't be seeing everyone I love :(
 
Damn I really want to go to this, the lineup looks awesome! I'm not sure if I can talk anyone I know into going though, not even the wife :p Hopefully people won't be too mean to me if I just stumble around laughing in the woods on my own :D
 
Have some extra PLUR for me and consider me there in spirit. Although I have enough airline credit to get there and back for free...

I have to work :(
