MD, Baltimore - 06.07.08 Saturday - Starscape 10th Year Anniversary!!!

There used to be a club in DC called Tracks that had a Thursday weekly where a side room was goth/industrial. We all got along fine. I was never into the goth thing tho.
 
On a side note, does anyone remember Nick Raversaur?

I have seen this guy smack dab in the middle of the dance floor at just about every Ultraworld (DC Armory/Starscape/Sunrise Festival) party since 1999. He was def at the last few Starscapes so maybe some of you remember him. He is the father of a local DJ. He died last year. So I am dancing this one out till Scott Henry's lifts the needle from the last record just for him!
 
BAD STEVE! lol It's all good. I am sure he isn't offended (or wouldn't be if he was still here) Nick was really tall and was always wearing some type of tye dye shirt & bandana hippie clothing. With that combination it wasn't too hard to recognize him from a distance.

Ok, so I'm considering going to the actual party now. Yeah, Krafy Kuts and BT are gonna be at EDC in june (which Im going to), but there are so many people at EDC that I want to see, that it might just be work going to see KK and BT at SS....but then again...it might not be worth 60 bucks. Im so conflicted. The weekend is already running me over 700 bucks. Argh. Im conflicted.
 
***tear tear*** thought I might be able to drive down myself but the crazy DMV is making me turn my license in Tuesday morning... So my friend will def be driving me down(lol in my car) see everyone in like 2 weeks! Hehehe at least my car this year wont overheat like last year when we took it for a spin down in Bmore Harbor Area!
 
I am most likely going again.

the only thing that is holding me back is my most recent move from Boston to Ohio - if I lived in Boston I could have taken AmTrack, but at least I found a ride from a very kind individual who was going to drive solo before.

now I just need to find a new job with the quickness. if I was in Boston with my old gig it would be absolutely no problem, but I have been hitting up the bars/clubs looking for bartender positions all day and I think I will be set in a couple days so I should be able to go.
 
hotel booked, ticket trackign number has been emailed, tires on car changed, i think im good to go.

well I got a new job today tending the bar (again) at some wannabe Brooklyn jazz lounge in Ohio. I told the boss that I will be visiting family in Baltimore and I got the days off.

so I'm officially going! can't wait to see everyone and have good times/good vibes.
 
TRT, set times will be announced sometime the week of the event.

(my guess would be Wednesday June, 4th)
