I'm fairly new in the hell world of IVing meds, basically just dilaudid. I am trying to kick it but that's another story.

Anyway, as of pretty recent times I get a very feignt soreness in my arm after injectjng. It's not at the IV site, but rather further up. Sometimes I even feel the soreness travel through my right arm even if I injected in my left arm, for example. It's very strange and surely cannot be a good thing. Anybody else know what I'm talking about? It is kind of hard to explain the feeling. It is almost as if the soreness is traveling from one side to the other. I wonder if perhaps it's because you wreck your veins as a shooter and your body creates smaller pathway veins, at least from what I've read, thus making it harder and/or sorer for things to travel through. Truth is I have no idea. I just know it never happened until recently. Btw, I've injected somewhat off and on for about 9 to 10 months.

Sounds like you might be hitting a nerve somewhere that's sending migratory pain over to your other arm?

Nah. Ive had nurses hit nerves and I about fly off the bed! Ha.

This little soreness comes after a good injection, needle out. I keep getting the minor soreness travel just through my arms and armpit area. It kind freaks me out. I never had this before. I will investigate more.
