May not be blog worthy but here goes.

Home owner’s insurance has settled. I have mixed feelings about this being over as we are still dealing with trauma and loss. I’m glad it is over, however, we lost more than our home our mental and physical health has suffered in unmeasurable ways.
Financially, insurance did not fully cover items lost or out of pocket expenses. Fortunately we and our pets survived and we were together the entire time.
 
You’ve dealt with this as well as one can. I can only imagine the trauma of it all. You’re right to appreciate that all of you, including the driver, survived ok.
