Opioids Maximum daily dosage by a dr

What is the typical maximum dosage that a dr will issue in a script?
I would like to increase my script, I’m going to see my dr tomorrow afternoon. my script reads not to exceed 10 pills per day, they are 10/325.

is this a high dose? am I likely to get an increase Or am I at my limit?

10mg of hydrocodone?

If you are needing 10 pills a day of hydrocodone you need to switch to another opioid because there is no point in taking that much acetaminophen.
