Maximum amount of Codeine at once?

Hey does anyone know how much codeine your liver can metabolize at once?
I think I read before it was something like 300mg, or 350mg? Can anyone verify how much is the 'ceiling' dosage?

400mg. Dependent on weight but roughly 400mg/24hr for an average person.

The number you hear the most is 400mg. I've heard that some people can metabolize up to 700-800mg...

The 400 mg ceiling is very much debated. Some people can metabolize up to 1000 mg, but the effects of codeine are very unpleasant at such ridiculous dosages. IIRC, codeine has a relatively low LD50.

I believe that I heard 600mg but that was long ago that I was given that answer.
