Stimulants Max Safe Dose of Adderall (Mixed Amphetamine Salts)?

I was just curious what the maximum safe dose of Adderall is. This question is strictly asked out of curiosity. I am prescribed Adderall XR 10mg, and I don't abuse or plan on abusing the medication. I am just curious what the human body can handle, how much one would have to take to experience negative side effects, etc.

The recommended maximum daily dose by most authorities is 60mg/day.You should worry about fatal amphetamine overdose with single doses of Adderall of 150mg+, but cumulative doses of 150mg+, even in increments of 10mg every 2 hours over a few days can cause fatal serotonin syndrome in beginners, especially if:

- they take MAOI, triptans, opioids like tramadol or other medication included in the serotonin syndrome aggravating substances list.
- if they do activities that by themselves increase serotonin, such as lengthy masturbation to porn. (32+ hours straight)

It's true, I got real light headed once after only taking 80mg and some benzo'z and I had a dizzy/faint high for about 15 mins.... I would never take more than 60mg.

The FDA of the United States maxes the dose out at 60mg, with 70mg being the max safe, tested dose. Some people, some, require more. It depends on weight, metabolism, biochemistry, etc.

If you study in University or something, a common mistake students do is they increase the dose when they have more material to learn. The thing is, amphetamines and memory are like oil and water. High doses of amphetamines can(not very often) cause psychosis, rendering the subject unable to form new memories. A typical case is shown here:

Permanent psychosis is rare but temporary psychosis symptoms are often observed with higher doses. Like, if you take a nap after a binge and you wake up, you may not know who you are, what season is outside or if you have a family. It may take a few minutes to get it all back.

Someone with a LOT of free time, and spends a ton of money on lubricants or rubs themselves til they bleed maybe? Either way, it's not recommended and definitely high risk abuse of amphetamines to spend your time on high doses of speed doing this.
