Cocaine MASSIVE problem! 5g of coke mixed with 1.5l of wtaer by accident! please help!

ok so a friend met this jamaican guy who said he could get coke and my mate wanted to wash it up. so the guy came with him to watch him wash up a gram before he trusted him with 5.
so he put the cocaine hydrochloride, Bi-card and ewater in a shit glass mixed it alkl up and let it cook up in a pan of nboiling water. No problems, the guy was very impressed.
anyway he gave him the othrer 5 then left, my friend id the same thingbut with the 5g. All was going to plan and then the shot glass cracked and everything dissolved into the approx. 1.5l of water. How can he get the cocaine back?
someone here must know or he is FUUUCKEd!
i told him hes an idiot but his love for speedballs is obviously too kean!

anyways, anyhekp would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!

Well according to your story the first time he used a "shit glass" with the 1g.

The second time with the 5g he used a "shot glass".

I would suggest always using a shit glass from now on.
 
Okay wait, I think I must be missing something.

Were you trying to wash the coke? Or make crack? To wash cocaine, you use acetone to rid it of impurities, and since your cocaine is going to be cut to shit, you will be left with less than 50% of the volume you began with, however this is what you want! It is now worthy of the term pure cocaine (provided you played your cards right).

To make crack you use baking soda and cocaine, in ratios that vary person to person but I've always used 1 part baking soda to every 4 parts cocaine. And you don't use a shot glass, they break as you found out too late..... There's this awesome material that goes by the name of Pyrex, and it is your new best friend.

It is going to be a complete bitch to get a few grams of cocaine out of almost an entire 2 liter bottles worth of water.
Check this out. If I were you I would SLOWLY evaporate the water WELL BELOW BOILING. I mean very low heat this will take MANY hours, but you don't want to destroy the cocaine, and cocaine is not destroyed very easily unless you have it way too hot or anywhere near boiling.

Evap day b1tch in the oven at like 60-80 degrees Celsius or 160-180 farenheit
 
Disclaimer: I know jack about handling coke, aside from it's being an alkaloid. This is a standard procedure for alkaloid salts dissolved in large amounts of water:

Add enough hydroxide to freebase the alkaloid.* Then add a nonpolar solvent (heptane / ether starting fluid should work, but might not be too clean, same with most stuff in your hardware store's paint aisle), shake, and drain off the organic layer at the top. After ~3 washes, you should have all your alkaloids in the solvent. Evaporate down and you'll get some freebase, although it might be contaminated with solvent residue / oil-soluble stuff in the cut. Optionally, dissolve a lot of salt in the water solution beforehand to decrease the solubility of the freebase.

*If a bicarbonate was added previously instead of a carbonate, extra hydroxide will be needed to convert all of the bicarbonate into carbonate before the pH can get high. pH strips would come in handy.

This is true of Pyrex labware, but not bakeware (it used to be made of actual Pyrex, or some close analogue, but not anymore). Kimax is also good and a little cheaper. Stay away from no-name glassware and especially Bomex. That stuff goes straight to hell when heat is involved.
 
If you can evaporate the water you recoup what's dissolved in it. To speed evaporation, you could pour the water onto a frying pan or any container that is much wider that it is tall. An oven well below 100°C and leaving the over door open so that the water vapour escapes.

While all of this is true, I don't see what is so insanely complicated about trying to evaporate the water below boiling. I know cocaines melting point, but if it were MY cocaine, I would still not be boiling that shit.

Like the poster above said, more surface area = more evaporation

Excessively basic conditions will hydrolise the ester groups and destroy the cocaine. There's a reason people use weak bases for freebasing. As others have said, just evaporate the water in a shallow dish under a fan, you'll be fine.

LOL! I'm still laughing at that comment, sorry, this is a pointless post and I'd be well pissed off at what happened too.
Hope you do find a useful solution to recover it.
 
man i can just imagine getting 5 grams, ready to have a f*cking wild night and then this sh*t happens lol.

5000mg of cocaine is 1500ml of water = 3.333 mg per ml.

Plugging 30-40ml at a time, which will be equivalent of a decent line. (90-120mg lol)

I'd probably try and find something narrow but that can hold 40ml and would be doing rectum bumps while waiting for it to evaporate lol.
 
ha ha, pbuilder , you remind me of mr. wizard on tv when i was a kid 50 years ago. very good common sense solutions to problems in the world of chemistry. not that mr. wizard was talking about cocaine, rather the suggestions of how to calmly find way out of problem.

the only issue is 30-40ml is okay for 1 plug, but multiple plugs of that amount your giving yourself a full on enema!
