Massive Post Injection Swelling after using dirty/cut Cocaine.

Whats up everybody! I have quite the predicament here and would greatly appreciate any advice anyone may have for me.

Last night I injected some obviously cut / tampered with / stomped on cocaine. I was not sure what it was cut with, so I added more flame to further the heating as an attempt to separate this mystery substance.

On the first shot I did not miss at all and it seemed to go in rather smooth, however on the second shot I missed with the very beginning of the shot (1 or 2 cc) and then proceeded to put the rest in a more receptive vein. (Lather, Rinse, Repeat) Other than the poor quality of the coke, I did not feel any negative side affects the remainder of the evening.

It was this morning that my arm, surrounding the several injection sites was swollen to an uncomfortably large size, and a darkened area with a bruise extending nearly three inches below the lowest of IV sites, and nearly three inches above the highest IV site.

Does anyone know what kind of cutting agent could cause this? Or more importantly perhaps, a way to get the swelling to go down and avoid contact with a doctors office?

I mean I missed the VERY beginning of a full shot, Id guess it was about a unit or two. Just an estimation.

I had swell ups sometimes when I bang hydromorphone and detroamphetamine. Those are sterile from the bottle;however, I am allergic to the artificial colouring yellow #5 in Dexedrine so when I miss it swells up big time. I don't know what adulerant was cut with your coke but yu may be allergic to it. I'm not saying this is your case but rather a possibility. Contact a doctor if doesn't resolve in 12 hours or you may lose your arm!

preciate it, doesnt appear to be an allergic reaction as I have tried both benadryl and an anaeroboic antihystamine, and to no avail...and do you really think 12 hours is all I should wait? What if it starts gettin better in the mean time?

I dont know much about mending missed shots. But from what I've read you should alternate pressure with a warm cloth, then a cold cloth. If its only been a day, I'd just chill out and do the cloth thing. If it continues to look/feel worse then yes go get help immediately. The embarrassment/shame isn't shit compared to losing a limb, especially considering you don't have to ever see those doctors/nurses again. Fuck what they think, they see that shit all the time anyways.

Thanks man I feel ya on that, the only problem is that my mom works at the only doctors office within fifty miles of where I live. Thats the only reason I didnt go right away.

Oh, I'm pretty sure they would, whatever the rules say. But since this is the weekend the ER would make more sense anyway.

I dont know about badly cut coke but i know i must have injected some somewere down the road that year...and no nothing, but i did put makeup...sum powered stuff on my injection site and the next morning same thing swelling really bad inflamed i took some advil tryed to put stuff on it and stuck the needle in it and tryed to squeeze nothing. I ended up going to the er 24hrs later and thank god, it needed to get lanced 3 sites and the amount that came out was astonding. I couldnt believe in that amount of time that amount of puss was possible. The dr. drained them and said ya in a couple more days it would have crossed some barrier into the blood and id go septic and thats deadly. so i got a really painful shot of antibiotics in my ass and felt the pain for at least 3 more hours - not the lanced sites my dr was nice and froze it before, some docs feel the need to teach a lesson and will just lance with no freezing. But the shot of antibiotics killed. Go to the hospital and get it taken care of. Its not gonna go away. Soon u will be getting a fever and the chills.
