Massage, who does it better?

Would someone who is very anal and overly attentive be better at a massage? I get massages nonstop by women of all kinds, some sensual, some even with happy endings. Would a man do it better? Would a less artistic type and more logical person be better at it? I don't know, like last time I asked my favorite masseuse "how long you been in this room"? she didn't understatnd it at first and said "huh", then she realized I hadn't been in t hat room for over a year, we were usually in another room in the building? is she brilliant?
