Masking MDMA from EzTests?

So I purchased a baggy of what I was told was powdered MDMA and tested it up with marquis reagent. It failed to change any colour. I tested another known batch that returned a nice purple fizzing change so I know the test kit is still fresh. So I query this with my source and they simply said that there was a masking agent that blocks the test.

So what I want to know is if this is possible, and if so why would they bother? I mean any law enforcement agency would not rely upon reagent tests and would send them away to a lab for mass spectrometer testing any way before court proceedings, so trying to hide the fact seems pointless. Am I wrong or should I start bending fingers and breaking knee caps over this?

I would love to hear his explaination as to what masks the MDMA from concentrated sulphuric acid :D
 
This "masking agent" bullshit started a little while ago and nicely coincided with the proliferation of educated MDMA users who test their product (or at least id like to think that these type of users proliferated haha) ANYWAY

It is complete bullshit. I think that your dealer is probably just ignorant and that someone higher than him told him that. Otherwise, bend fingers and break knee caps (in a figurative sense).
 
Thanks for the reply's. She's a girl so chivalry prevents me from exacting a serious beating, and she is probably low level enough to not know any difference anyway. It wouldn't bother me is she knew what it was and I could safely dose it. The shame is they are usually a solid source, goes to show you what a shit hole the current RC market has created.

I gently pointed out to her that less polite members of society would use barrels full of snakes to teach her a lesson. For now I am happy she returned my money.
 
if it has any effects its most likely piperazines, as they don't change colors with the marquis reagent. honestly id rather have methylone than pipes. no such thing as a masking agent as far as i know
 
Well here's a story - my friend scores pills from a reputed dealer - Pink Rockstars. He scores them all day long every week. Usually 10 at a time.

So I give him a test kit, and he scores a new batch of rockstars. They look just like any other rockstars. Well, they tested NEGATIVE. Straight back to the dealer and he said he had 2 seperate bags, and then gave him the right ones that tested positive. Even low level dealers have fakes. I even consider that the lab is making fakes to go with the real ones, as this dealer obv got fakes + real thru 1 source.

This is a very valid observation.

In my younger days when I worked in clubs the dealers used to have this exactly as you describe.

I think this is a more a service provided by pressers as opposed to labs.

If you are a lab I doubt anyone will fuck around making fakes they would just cook another batch. Time wasted making fakes is potential time when you could be cooking.

A press on the other hand can make more money with one purchase of MDMA by pressing up fakes as you describe.

Just a thought.
 
Well I think a pressing machine can be left to press out tonnes of pills on it's own.

And I presume labs do their own pressing also.

I also believe people re-engineer pills.....that is to say a press + a good source of quality E you can grind down and re-press with cutting agents.
