Hey guys i'm as you can see a new poster here but i have been lurking on the site enjoying everything bluelight has to offer haha.
Anyways to my point, I have seen several threads of people discussing how they do not like to smoke weed when on opiates. Also many daily opiate users say they stopped smoking as their opiate use progressed and dosages became larger. I myself love opiates and use them recreationally 3-4 times a week. I love to smoke when i dose with any type of opiate. I am a pothead at heart but many times I cannot really "feel" my dose of opana, bupe, or oxy whatever i have obtained until i smoke. I really think it is the best potentiator, better than anti-histamines and all that bullshit.
 
Many people who do opiates stop smoking weed for some reason, I love the combo. It doesn't potentiate opiates for me, I just like the combo.

its a common combo......

from my exp. ive found that junk heads that stop smoking pot, do it for lack of funds.....due to the heavy use of heroin.....
 
ya Kush, that that def makes sense. I was just readin and old thread with post after post of people describing how they wont and dont like to toke up even if they enjoyed it prior to opiates. I just wanted to know how others felt and to make sure im not the only one haha, because i swear by it, if i grab sumthin from my boy i will wait until i get my sack of chronic to dose i jus thinks it makes the opiate bliss sooo much more pleasurable. but one thing i noticed i disliked was that many times i get itchier after i blaze, sittin there itchin my balls inline at walgreens or sumshit with these dickheads starin at me its rediculous haha
 
Lovin' the combo too. Low doses of hydrocodone with a small hit of weed puts me in the perfect headspace for creativity and relaxation.

Seems like I started getting more side effects from weed after starting opiates, though. Now my heart beats fast, it's hard to breathe and I get semi-anxious when I smoke pot, even without being high on opiates. I'd say it's a small price to pay for knowing the beauty of opiates...
 
ya i have always been a lover of burnin trees long before opiates came into the picture and I also notice that when im on opiates and smoke my heart rate also gets elevated quite alot it seems (i know this is a side-effect of ganja but when im not on opiates and smoke i dont recognize the elevation in heartbeat).

Anyone else get much itchier when the smoke on opis?
 
i honestly the majority of the time would not get high oc unless i smoked weed after. even if i waited an hour or two, the oxy wouldn't kick in til after i smoked.
ex: one day while visiting my mom, i blow 70mg. two hours later i go to smoke a joint with my brother. we get back inside, and i start nodding the fuck out and got so high. two hours later!!
 
^^ I had the same thing happen to me on multiple occasions.

I love how oc has such a long half life, all you have to do is smoke some bud a couple hours later and you're feeling just like you did when you snorted it.
 
fiends also may not like pot, because it will inter-fear with their DOC high, and add some mental complications....

ex.... they burn out, and it ruins there dope high...
 
haha thats funny shit. I agree with you mymindisgoo, like I said before I will hold out on doing any oc until i can smoke afterwards. I also agree with ya that id rather not do my opiates if i couldn't blaze with the exception being if I had a buncha opies on me lol. Opiates are the best addition to weed and weed is the best addition to opiates imo. not to mention the trees up here in new england and the north east are dankafiable
 
Ughh i hate smoking weed and doing oxys totally sucks ass i think opiates is good enough high alone without no weed buzz put in it
 
i must say i take both opiates and benzos but i have to say that i enjoy smokin pot with the benzos more than with the opiates.
Though im not knonkin the opiates with pot i think pot goes with everything.
Even though i recently quit, like maybe 2 months ago(smokin pot) and only cause i cant afford it and cant grow it anymore...:'(
 
the very first time i did an opiate (vicodin) it made me really nauseous and i was like fuuuuck this sucks.. but then i took a rip off my bong and suddenly i felt the best i had ever felt in my life. after that i would always have to smoke pot whenever i took an opiate.

even when i was at my worst with heroin and money was scarce, i always made sure i saved a few bucks for a little bit of weed to smoke.. i just wouldnt consider myself high until i smoked a bowl after doing my dope.
 
i'd consider taking any opiate without smoking too somewhat wasteful. pot brings out the opiate's euphoria.
 
I must be different than most. First time I took a Vicodin I felt really good, then an hour later I took a toke of weed & felt the worst ever. I was nauseated & did like the feeling one bit. I havent smoked weed in 8 years & dont miss it!
