Marquis, Mecke, Mandelin?

I don't have much money to invest in a test kit so I was wondering wich in your opinion is the best and why? also, what are the differences between those 3 test kits?

I'd say either Marquis or Mandelin , but as to which one of those is most suitable depends upon what substitutes you're likely to encounter.

Mandelin can indicate the presence of PMA and ketamine, Marquis is very sensitive to methamphetamine and both react to a wide range of compounds. Mecke is a useful reagent, only it's not as versatile as the others.

Any idea what concentration and ratio of formaldehyde/sulfuric acid makes up Marquis reagent?

If you are in the US or CAN, I would recommend the Marquis due to the high probability of pills being adulterated with meth/amp.

Add 8-10 drops of 40% formaldehyde solution to 10ml concentrated sulfuric acid.

^If it's to be stored for any length of time, add a small amount of methanol to slow down polymerisation of the formalin (usually ~1mL/100mL reagent)
