Marquis fizzes briefly...

hiya,

I think i know the answer to this one... but i'm just double checking.

Am i right in thinking that if a tablet fizzes slightly, when you add the Marquis, that this means that the pill contains some God Awful Fucking Shite .. ahem.. i mean Pipes ?

Please let me know...

It was turning slowly from brown to dark brown when it fizzed .. it fizzed only for about half a second.. then continued turning dark brown. It took about 10 seconds to change colour.

The colour change didn't reach that very dark blue/purple that the crystal turned.
(I tested a pill, and some crystal)

I also tested the pill with mandelin, simons and Robodope.
The Mandelin went black.. the simons went bright blue.. and the robodope seemed to go a slight orangish colour. So i've concluded from this that there is some MDMA in there.. but the slow colour change in the Marquis makes me think that it's probably a weak pill...not much MDMA in there. The fizzing makes me wonder if it might also contain some pipes.

What do you think ?

Is there a test i can perform for Pipes ?

IMO mandelin and simons point to MDxx while robadope and marquis points to amp. fizzing does occur in pipes but it usually happens befor color change. i havent tested enough pills to give you a solid answer. hopefully someone more knowledgable can answer your questions. untill then i wouldnt reccomend taking these
 
I agree with you that there may be some speed in there.
Mandelin is supposed to turn a light greenish colour in response to speed.
However, there's no telling what colour Mandelin turns in the presence of MDMA and speed.
I'm guessing the dark of the MDMA reaction could overpower the light greenish colour.

Sounds like MDMA + Meth-- brown marquis, black mandelin, blue simon's. Did the mandelin flash green? Mandelin shows green to meth.

a positive reaction to the robadope would indicate a primary amine. Several chemicals are a primary amine(DOx, 2C-x, PMA, etc), but the solution itself is an orange/pink color before any reaction takes place.
 
Last week i took this stuff over for testing at www.saferparty.ch.
Yesterday i got the results back by email.
My suspicions that this was weak MDMA were confirmed.
It was only 38.4% MDMA.

But there was no amphetamine in it... and no pipes.
The only psychoactive substance in it was MDMA.

This is important.. because the fizz must have been a reaction of the marquis
to something else.... I don't know .. i'm guessing.. but perhaps sodium bicarbonate fizzes with marquis?
This means that you can't conclude from a fizz reaction that your pill or powder is
contaminated with pipes or other nasties.
