Well I just got my hands on some new pills in the area, they reacted barely to Simmons (blue) and none to robadope. When I dropped Marquis on it, they foamed up ALOT, and then I thought I saw a couple specks of mdma in them(purpleish black).

I tasted the pills, nothing like pipes. Very chalky.... slightly bitter.

What could all the foam mean? DXM?

Fizzing and grey reaction is an indication of DXM - There have been a few reports of a fizzy binder being used on some pills where frothing/foaming was experienced when eating them (urrghh).

Sorry I cant be of much more help but I wouldnt be eating them !

DXM tastes worse though, you wouldn't mistake it for chalky I don't think...

They taste chalky because................. it is chalk! When I read the title the first thing I thought was that it must be some form of carbonate/bicarbonate salt then when you said it tasted chalky, that confirmed it. It is chalk AKA calcium carbonate.

How I know:
Marquis is H2SO4 + HCOH. H2SO4 is a very strong acid, a classic chemical reaction is the addition of a strong acid to a carbonate salt to produce salt, water and CO2 (the bubbles).

How you could confirm it 100%:
Get your hands on some lime Ca(OH)2. Dissolve it in water and put it in a container. Bubble the gas from the foam through the solution and if it turns white then is is chalk. But I think the fact that it tastes like chalk and reacts the same way chalk would is enough.

1 part formalin (formaldehyde in water) to 9 parts sulfuric acid. The acid should be lab grade at the very least.
