Is it possible to mark a group of sub-forums as "read"? I know you can mark all the forums "read" and you can mark individual forums as "read," but I have yet to figure out if you can make just an individual group of sub forums "read."

If 12+ clicks (go to forum, click "forum tools," "mark forum as read," repeat for each sub-forum) can be saved, it'd be great. If not, no biggie.

This external thread makes me think a different version of vBulletin or a different adaptation has or had group tools when you are viewing a group. It is either not available, not turned on, or I'm not seeing it. I have only ever used mark all forums as read so maybe I'm missing something.

Wow, thanks for the quick reply, Enki! I don't see "group tools" either, so it's probably not available to BL. :(

There is an option to "Mark Forums Read" on the bottom of the sub-forum page, but when you click that, it marks every single forum, in that sub-forum or not, as read.

Looks like I'm SOL. :-/ At least it's not a huge issue, lol. Not even really an "issue," lol.

Group Tools is not implemented here. Given the other things we're focused on right now (pruning the database, funding the site, clipping our toenails, etc), I would feel safe in saying we won't be exploring this 'feature' anytime soon, if at all. Sorry.

Clipping your toenails, lawl. It's okay that this feature won't be here--Just figured I'd make sure I wasn't missing it, you know?

Mods, you can feel free to close this unless you feel it's beneficial to leave it open.

Edit: I tried changing my first post to say "answered" but I can't figure out how...
