Mark David Was Right (Kill All Us Revolutionists)

Turns out Mark David must have been right.

Pumping his fist at all us revolutionists.

I guess they caught the gist that he was pissed; always.

A handful of his bullets to a rebel with a real satanic edge.

This rage will get you nowhere unless nowhere is the place you wish to dwell...for some it's hard to tell the difference between paradise and hell.

He must have thought the acid cast an evil spell.

I would have told you yesterday but I was tripping on my gels.

Slow motion falls the hero now. To live a life of hope for peace is quite naive without a doubt. Not to say I think it's wrong or right; that's not what it's about.

I tell you: one man offered love; the other offered ammunition from a loaded gun.

So as we're pointing fingers as you try to choose a side, try falling in the rabbit hole with drugs inside your mind.

"It wouldn't make a difference" you declare with such a sigh that I could tell you were debating: it's yourself you need to find.

Me, I hate to say it but for once I'd like to be alive.

Never thought I'd have to shift the drifters simply to survive.

All the colors seem to possess everything you ever knew; and when they all surround you you'll become their every hue.

I try not to be pompous but I told you "you will die".

Tomorrow never knows.

Now you can look me in the eye.

Always. Forever, will this be?

This really is pro-John Lennon, not against him...this is a sarcastic bitchy ranty song/poem. I love John Lennon...I fucking love the Beatles. My favorite song: "I'm Only Sleeping" off of the 1st psychedelic album ever released, The Beatles "Revolver".

the 1st psychedelic album ever released, The Beatles "Revolver".

And, to my mind, still the best (with apologies to Piper at the Gates of Dawn).

I love your piece. This line really hooks me:

This rage will get you nowhere unless nowhere is the place you wish to dwell...

Then this section is incredible:

So as we're pointing fingers as you try to choose a side, try falling in the rabbit hole with drugs inside your mind.

"It wouldn't make a difference" you declare with such a sigh that I could tell you were debating: it's yourself you need to find.

Me, I hate to say it but for once I'd like to be alive.
