Marinol

drmcnasty, I'm not trying to get marinol to get high, I'm trying to get it for my nausea and appetite.

squirrel, I've looked into it, and really its not super cheap, as I have NO money. I do not work at all as I cannot because of knee problems, and now the cancer where I have to go to the oncologist office every other day for chemo, and whenI'm not doing chemo I still have to go quite often for blood work, or other random doctors visists.

I sent an e-mail to a place claiming to do free samples, but I haven't heard back. I just need something as eating 5 bites of food a day is not good, especialy when I throw them up 10 mins after eating them.

I understand this and empathize with your situation. My comment about that was geared towards the people commenting on the psychotropic qualities.
 
Has anyone vaporized hash oil? Marinol is just pure THC in oil. If you want to get stoned on Marinol, it is possible.

Ever dripped a blunt in hash oil? This is the same thing, except it is pure THC.

The average joint has 10 mg of THC, so if you ate a joints worth of weed, you have popped a Marinol 10 mg pill.

I have soaked weed in Marinol before, the 2 mg tab, and I got remarkably high.
This is a godsend for shitty old swag...

Nearly all of the synthetic cannabinioid RCs are too potent on the CB1 receptor to be useful in a uncontrolled environment, you will spend more money measuring powder and/or buying the herbal smokes than the actual green on the street.

To the OP, you need a new source. This shit is way too expensive to be practical. Plus, the downside of Marinol pills is that you sometimes may not even be able to get them down in the first place to ease the nausea that makes you throw it up. This is why my cancer ridden grandfather who died of lung disease never took any medication orally.

People talk about adding it to smoke but you really need the lesser pschtropics like CDN and CBD to obtain the desired effects you are looking for

It's already there. All you did was add more THC to the mix.
The "not so great" batches of weed is full of CDN and CBD. All you are doing is turning a shitty dry dirt weed, into some pretty nice moist, re-puffed, slower burning, nice dirt weed.

It really works! I would love to get another bottle of Marinol just because It just will never feel as shitty as accidentally smoking too much synthetic cannibinoids. You just can't beat good ole THC. Period.

Damn dude that sucks. I'm sorry! I wish you the best of luck and I hope you can somehow get some food in you... benzos give me the munchies at times.. Maybe you should call your dr and let him know about the price.. there has to be something that can be done!!! I hope you get to feeling well soon!
 
the doctor knows about the price, I told him at today's chemo session.

and I do have benzo's. I get 2mg valium, 60 a month. I don't take them everyday, so when I do take them, I take like 10-15mg worth at a time, sometimes they make me hungry.
 
so I was at the grocery store today and thought I"d check in on my medicine to see if the insurance ever covered it. they did, so today I picked up one bottle of 60# 5mg dronabinol capsules. the script was wrote for 3 months, but the insurance company is only covering one month. but at least I got them.
