mechanical animals is a great album about drug addiction. it's about more than that but the addiction is what i relate to the most. his other stuff i'm not huge into. he's fantastic live though.

Used to love their Music, Earlier stuff was way more creative. Think they peaked along time ago though(Definitely pre Golden Age, the Graph steadily plummeted from there). Got a bit disillusioned with all the bullshit propoganda of Manson in l8r times too, seemed to be just Aping a depressed Teenager for popularity sake.

Marilyn Manson is one of my favorite bands. My favorite albums are Mechanical Animals and Holy Wood(In the Shadow of the Valley of Death).

3rd would be Golden Age of the Grotesque. I haven't taken the time to download anything after that, but I'll do so eventually.

His new album is scheduled for 2011.. I heard Manson say it was gonna be more metal, but Twiggy says it will be more punk, with some Mechanical Animals flavor to it..
I hope they make it as full of symbolism and imagery as the triptych albums. Even after 7 years of listening to those same albums I still make new connections and realizations.

And I hope he actually releases Phantasmagoria soon.

Since most of this thread is expressing love for particular albums, I thought I'd slap a poll on it to see what comes out tops (I love a good poll).

Personally, I never really got into his music. I like to watch interviews with him though, cuz I think he's an interesting and intelligent guy. I also approve of his taste in women.
